I would argue that if you're going to go back to their amateur careers (4-5 yrs ago), you might also want to consider that Price comfortably outpointed Fury on more than 1 occasion.

Also " a 45 year old matt skelton made him look very shaky at times" Massive exhaggeration on your behalf... Did McDermott and Pajkic not make Fury look slighltly more than "very shaky at times"

That's called double standards mate... you get me? :yep

    Different points in development.

Fury was a kid against a grown man when they fought in the amateurs. As a Pro, Price has always been in great shape and is more than likely in or around his prime.

Fury did look bad in those fights, but in the first one he was a fat kid resembling a teletubby, and in the second one he was nigh on suicidal as his dad had just been locked up and his kid was in the hospital, Quite clearly those fights would be very different now, because Fury is different now.

Price is basically the same as he's always been though, and Skelton was his last fight.

I think both of them look decent enough with a lot of potential and want them both to do well...

    Is that just me then?

We agree then, Price as a Professional has looked a lot better than Fury......:hi:

I haven't at any point stated that Price is a fighter without flaws. I just don't really think you can judge him yet as he's only been past the 3round mark on 4 occassions. Hence my opinion that you're being hyper critical. :huh

  7. A life in the real world? What I wouldn't give to have a life in the real world.

    A window would be nice.

I have to say I agree with you Earl.

I agree with a fair few of your points and in this instance Hitmanfan has little in return.

Price's movement is nothing like the Klitschko's they're both more able in that respect.

All Price's fans have is 'he stopped McDermott quicker'.

How can you judge Price negatively and Fury positively?? It's only Fury that has looked close to being beat (arguably lost to McDermott)

I think i've already stated that Fury is arguably better agility wise, and what's with this "Price fans" ****, they're not a collective. In fact I wouldn't even class myself as a Price fan, but i'm not a detractor either. I just feel the need to Call Earl out when he says **** like " Price ain't on his level and will get sparked by some nobody soon. David price is a 1 trick pony.

    :nono

"All Price's fans have is 'he stopped McDermott quicker". Well unfortunately due to the nature of Prices finishing prowess, that is the only equal comparative that we have to judge them by

I think Price will do better long term, but Fury is massively ahead of him at this stage.

He's fought far superior fighters on a consistent basis, and has generally been more active too.

Fury did just as well against Safety Pin as Klitschko did.... meanwhile Price was fighting Matt Skelton, a man who in recent years has lost to every decent fighter he's faced.

Tom Dallas - not championship class
John McDermott - not championship class
Sam Sexton - not championship class
Audley Harrison - not championship class
Matt Skelton - not championship class

A theme is developing here

I don't agree I'd say he is arguably 2 fight ahead of Price, but guess what, Fury has had 5 more pro fights than Price, Price is fighting Thompson next.....

Thompson is probably better than anyone Fury has faced thus far. So if Price comes through unscathed I'd say they're about even. :good(Chisora was in shameful condition)
