Sick of all the scouser bashing now. Not ALL scouse fans are Price-maniacs. I a big fan of his yeah but I'm not blind in thinking that it's not possible forhim to lose, as I explained in a previous comment.

Like I also said, just let both guys go their own way for now and let it simmer, the fight will happen eventually and we all know it.

The fight probably isnt going to happen until its a title fight in a stadium.

Hennessey & Maloney have so much invested in their men the only way they'll risk it is if they're making major money

I would say that Thompson would be the best win that either of them would have, but if you say Chisora was in shameful condition (which he was), will you accept that McDermott was in even worse condition against Price? Comparing the McDermott fights is simply not comparing like with like.

Someone is spreading a malicious rumour on Twitter that Price is gonna fight someone UNDER the age of 40 for his next fight.

I can't see it myself

Five more fights, but less knockover jobs.

They turned pro at roughly the same time, but Fury has been more active. I've been critical of some of the decisions they've made - the first McDermott fight was probably a bit early, vacating to fight Rogan and then Vinny Calzone, but generally he's been the better matched of the pair to date.

Thompson would be the best opponent that either have beaten, that's fair to say.

Del was out of shape, but it wasn't as if Fury laboured to a 115-113 x3 questionable decision, he won with relative ease. And probably would again if they met.

Chisora is a lazy bum, who ought to be down in the 220's. Until he got himself in such condition I'd back Fury to beat him every time.

I absolutely agree that McDermott was in terrible condition but isn't he always?:huh

I just don't think there is enough evidence to say either is superior to the other. Hence springing to Prices defence. But hey let the haters hate.(Earl)

Price just hasn't been tested enough. He really does need to step up his opponents and Thompson seems to fit the bill. I think that those of us actually interested in Price's development will learn a few things next time out.

But I genuinely don't understand the hate (on both sides). Two genuinely good British prospects in the blue ribbon division (plus Haye if he gets his arse into gear)... it's great for UK boxing. What's not to like?

Yeah that is blatant sarcasm from Fury.

Exciting stuff, I think it would be an excellent fight, especially since the rivalry goes all the way back to the amateurs.

IMO Fury's lack of balance and co-ordination and general openess would see him Ko'd but it's a bit of a pick em fight at the moment.:thumbsup
