    Fury does make me laugh.

    But that's about it.

In any other division, in any other era, talk of a world title shot at this point would be laughable.

Personally, I think Price is a better prospect.

You're so wrong you don't understand, laughably wrong in fact. Why make references to boxing history if you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about?

Anyone who gets to number 1 contender deserves their shot at the title, its not Tysons fault its not the best era.

Price will be the white Bruno, found seriously wanting at the top level when he gets clocked

He never turns up looking trim and the best punch he's ever landed was on himself.

I'd say he is a direct contributor to the heavyweight division being in the state it is.

He's lost 3-4 stone (walking around weight) this year and developed his body into a athlete, Manny Steward after working with him claimed he worked as hard as Wladimir in camp.

Riddick Bowe wasn't body beautiful nor was many other heavyweights in past era's.

Personally I'd say the best punch he landed was the one that had Price flopping to the floor in the AMs.
And he's in the best shape of his life, watch a few of his fights, you'll learn a thing or two about the man Neverchair.

He's shifted a lot of weight, he's in exciting fights, he stays active, and he's fighting decent opponents for a guy who's still a baby. Next up could be Adamek. He's not messing around fighting no hopers. A title shot won't be too far away, and when he does get his shot, you can bet he will put his heart and soul into his chance. If he loses it won't be through lack of trying. So I disagree with your point. Folks like Fury are what make the division exciting. If you really want to know why the heavyweight division has been so ****, then have a look at guys like Valuev, Ibragimov, and safety pin. I remember him trash talking Vitali then running all night, being scared to throw a punch. Just trash talking throughout the fight. Do you think Fury would do that?

If he were even half as talented as Riddick Bowe, I might forgive him that.

    ... but he isn't.

I've been there ringside at a few of his fights Lordgore.

It did cause me to learn a few things about the man.

And it has shaped my opinion of him.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said.

He has shifted some weight, Adamek might be next, a title shot wont be too far away, he will probably try.

    But...

He hasn't beaten anyone even half decent for quite a while now.

Are his fights are exciting? Did you see the last one?!!!

Do I think Fury will trash talk?

He's practically known for it isn't he? In fact he's been the first to talk **** about any fighter who happens to mention his name.

I'm not talking about the trash talking. Johnson talked all that trash but did nothing but run all night long against Vitali. He got his chance and blew it. Fighters like him are the reason the division is so poor. Fury won't go out like that.

The Adamek fight is a great fight in a business sense, but the man has no business in the HW division and against 6ft9 Fury he'll be in for a long night. :!:
