I find it astonishing that americans latch onto Wilder when they have Mitchell, who IMO is much, much better and has beaten the better opposition.
Wilder is the sort of guy you'd see boxing in a marquee at the local fun fair, his opposition remind me of the pissed up guys that would pay a couple of
    quid to try their luck.

Wilder aint even closer to Furys toughest opponent...the podgy version of Chisora that faced Fury would give Deontay a horrible beating.

Wilders people will never let this fight happen

Mitchell-Fury would be a good fight, would much rather see that than this total mismatch

It's rare that a Wilder or Fury opponent is announced at all. Normally we get TBA until a day before the fight.

But a fight like this can only be good for boxing. Two up-n-comers ready to scrap it out for a shred of credibility.

There is no way this fight happens next. Building up a nice rivalry for down the road though.

Why would Fury take this fight. He should be trying to get a fight with Wlad the egg. Its time for Fury to step it up. Wilder needs to step it up too. Hell I would watch this fight between the two.

I'd rather see Fury build up his rep beating the other euro's and then take on the up and coming american prospects, he's 24 for **** sake he's in no rush.
Wilder just needs to fight someone, anyone with a pulse, let alone fight Fury.

I doubt this fight will happen. There's more reward here for Wilder, if anything.

Fury isn't particularly good, but he's fought better comp than Wilder...

Don't know who to call here. I don't exactly think highly of either.

Maybe, but not by the BUM Wilder.

  15. Wilder gets sparked in this fight if it happens (it won't).

Honestly, I don't expect to see this fight until both guys are in their 30's. Fury has no reason to take it, its a step down. Fury would be a great step up and an awesome feather in the cap of Wilder, but there is seriously no reason at all for Fury's people to even consider this.
