    1. Price was never "the goods"
    2. It was not a rabbit punch. You really need to stop inventing fouls.
    3. It was not a "lucky punch". Fact is, Price didn't take Thompson seriously...and he clearly was not prepared for a southpaw. I saw glaring mistakes in the 1st round, which by the way he was not dominating Thompson in any way.
    4. Fury wil get likely his glass shattered before he ever meets Price, so it doesn't matter. One glass jawed Brit beating another glass jawed Brit doesn't mean squat.

Price had his "Sanders" moment with Thompson. The question will be how he recovers from this and what he makes out of this.

Unfortunately for Price, there's not Manny Steward around to resurrect him

I don't quite feel that it is the same thing, even though that happened much later in Wlad's pro career (not by age though). The issue is that Price got hurt in the ams in a way that is a really bad sign for the pros. I wouldn't normally hold it against him, but his punch resistance is blatantly at the kind of level where it will be a resurfacing problem throughout his entire career.
It's like Khan in the ams when he did the deer on ice from a nothing punch...it just sets off so many warning lights that we have to accept that its a problem that's not going to go away. Yeah, he might win a few big fights, but he will get KOed again (probably a few times) and against people he would otherwise beat if he had reasonable punch resistance.

Fury has a far superior boxing IQ than Price. He took what little he learnt from Steward and made it go a long way.
Against Rogan he had excellent timing and an ability to switch from orthodox to southpaw with ease, something ive rarely seen from a HW.
If he refines his style and develops his head movement a little more he's a serious threat to Wlad.
He already has a height and reach advantage needed to box him off from a distance.

Price didn't dominate anyone. Go back and watch the fight, count and tell me how many CLEAN jabs and right hands Price landed? Thompson was never panicked.

Granted, Thompson landed few punchers too, but that just shows you that no one was "dominating" up until the stoppage.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Thompson is a very clever southpaw who drew a mistake from Price and walked him into a short right hand.

Telling someone they DKSAB when you yourself still think it was a rabbit punch that stopped Price, get your head out of your ****ing arse, your fanboyism towards Wilder and Price is nothing short of annoying.Fury would beat the pair of them and you'd still never accept that he's the better fighter.

Dude had once hit a heavybag in a gym while wearing headgear and he thinks he's some boxing oracle, yet he doesn't have any grasp of rules and regulations.
