It is a bit early to be annointing Tyson Fury as a future world champion, much less, ranking in the top 10 or for that matter the top 50. McDermott gave him a tough fight, and he certainly is not a top 50 fighter. If Fury fights a top heavyweight now, based on what he has demonstrated in his last couple of fights, he will lose. If he fights a puncher he will be knocked out. I like the previous comment that Fury needs to show respect for the sport, he is 21 and comes in for the biggest fight of hs career looking soft and doughy. My thinking is that Fury needs a trainer over the next two years that will instill a good training discipline, tighten up his defense, straighten out his punches, and drop a least 25 pounds. I'd like to see him 10 fights over quality opponents during the the next two years. Fury has a lot going for him in that his is hansome and speaks well. If he can combine those attributes with a good training discipline and boxing skills, he has a shot.
Deontay Wilder a glass-chinned joke? How do you come up with that conclusion. Would it be because he hasn't stood up to uppercutting himself in the face yet? Wilder is the next big thing, while Fury is likely the next big bust. Fury may have gotten some worthless vacant British trinket, but his competition has been the same level as Wilders. I hope they will meet up sometime if Fury doesn't lose his 0 too soon.
He's a K.O waiting to happen. The way he breaks from clinches , turns his back and walks away all the time for no reason and his defence in general are really poor, someones gonna land something big on him soon.
oh that is funny, the guy cant even fight past 2 rounds with out getting tired, only time will tell i suppose, but i am not a believer. Derek Chisroa would flatten him inside 3 rounds.
Is this thread a ****ing joke. He would get beaten badly by the following; 1.Derick Chisora 2.Sam sexton. 3.david price Lets stop right there caz he will never get above that level...FACT
