If you was Tyson Furys advisor and in 2018 he was given the chance to fight again, how would you guide him back to World Champion Status

Tyson Fury vs Christian Hammer 2
    (Jan/Feb 2018)
Hammer has that win against Price which shot him up the WBO Rankings, a winnable fight on his return and gains him status in the rankings again

    Tyson Fury vs Kubrat Pulev
    (May/June 2018)
Pulev will most likely be on the wrong end of the result against Joshua and i doubt he will fight again till next May/June.

    Tyson Fury vs Joseph Parker
    WBO Championship
    (September/October 2018)
Easiest fight out of the 3 champions in my opinion, sellable especially if Parker defeats his relative Hughie.

Post your Route to make Tyson Fury a champion again, how quickly would you get him in the mix, would you warm him up, or feed him straight to the lions?

Tyson Fury needs no tuneups as long as he is on weight.

He'd beat most of the bums in the current division weighing 280 lb's. On Form weight is 260 or just below.

Tyson beats Parker with just his jab.... a real superheavyweight something which Parker isn't.

If Parker beats Hughie resoundingly then that would be the opportunity for Tyson to get motivated to comeback. If not then it's over for him.

He needs about twenty tune-up fights.
He's like George Foreman was coming back in 1987, off for ten years, 267 pounds and age 38.
Except Fury's only been off two years .... but somehow he's progressed to age 58 !

This is possible but he ought to be 100% before facing the top guys. There's no point giving them free shots at him, and running the risk of getting in the way of a sunday punch.
He'd be better off getting to 100% and doing it properly ..... otherwise he may as well stay retired. No half measures.

I doubt Fury wants it though.

    If Fury was serious:

    1) Get into excellent physical shape.
    2) Fight a bum a month for a year. There's no better way to shake the rust than actual combat
    3) Take on the hard guys.

Good post. Tyson Fury is the real #1, he got the belt 1st then Deontay he got it second then Joshua he got it third. After that I would put King Kong Ortiz, Parker then Povetkin.
