Tyson Fury - TIME he got respect

A good big one always beats a good little one.

Physical attributes in boxing count for a lot, it's the very reason we have weight divisions. Fans bleat on about Mayweather cherry picking weights at which he fights to gain an advantage and here we're talking 7lbs or so.

At Heavyweight, we're talking 70lbs.

Still. Fury is a good fighter, no arguing with his ability, his athleticism will always be questioned, he could get into the kind of shape we see K2 in but he doesn't live that kind of life, which is fair enough.

I was sitting watching the gloves are off last night (heavyweights) and really warmed to the guy. I'm no fan, but I think he's good value.

 

He's stopped two decent ranked fighters, well done for that, but I wouldn't say he's taken a particularly hard route to a title challenge. Cunningham was a light punching cruiser, and Chisora he knew he could beat. He isn't ready to face WK for sure, but by all means hype him more.

chisora couldnt get over fury's shoulder. dyson only needed to take a half step back and swing his head backwards to make it completely IMPOSSIBLE for chisora to land on his head. jabbing away at a guy that is THAT much smaller than you will leave the smaller guy with next to no chance.

Now if he faces wlad if he takes that half step backwards he eats a right hand straight flush to the jaw. Entirely different proposition :yep

Bottom line is I gree Fury does desrve respect ..he has remained undefeated , his is now mandatory for a title shot ..
For that he definately deserves to be respected .
The argument of ..Can he win and defend the title is questionable
I tell you one thing ..if he was to beat Klitscho ..VITALI would come back just to avenge ..
