Cherry picker Tyson Fury wouldn't fight Kabayel. He'll fight the likes of Pianeta, Schwarz, Wallin etc. It'll probably be Chris Arreola.
I’d be happy to see Fury fight the Ruiz v Ortiz winner but not Charr, even though Fury he has just beat his mandatory (Whyte) surely the WBC will have some input on who he does fight. Fury defo needs a fight before facing off with Usyk next year and it needs to be a competitive fight getting quality rounds in,Charr would not provide this .
Fury dealt with 36 year old cruiserweight champions as a 24 year old child as a 34 year old man multiple world time champ it will be childs play Usyk shouldn't have discussed his injuries even though it's known fact but to remind Fury that he's dealing with an old hurt cruiserweight is a bad move.
If Usyk wants to postpone the fight fine... But he is by no means calling the shots. Tyson will fight in December and Usyk will have to wait untill may or june, if he actually wants it?
And he reported? That he will beat them both with AJ. Did he say let's fight December back then ? NO ! He said he will fight only for 500m. Then the negotiation begun, and even his management team have said the fight won't happen in December. And when Usyk does his press at Ukraine and said he had old injuries that needs to heal and want to spend time with his family, then he shows up and said that he want to fight in December. I know you are a Fury fanatics, but this is 100% how the events has gone. Though i'm happy that Fury is back, and going by his words in his last interview he will take the fight, and even talk about fighting AJ and that he will take that fight too. And guess what i will give Fury props for fighting Usyk and AJ, win or lose. And if he wins both of this fight, he has a case for Top 10 ATG. While people are saying this is weak division, Fury beat the old time ruler - Klitschko. Yeah the afterwards event hurt his legacy, but then there was Big 2 in the division, AJ and Wilder. Fury beat Wilder 2x time. When Fury comeback, there was 3 big HW, Wilder, Fury and AJ. As i mention he already beat Wilder. If he beats AJ, he would have beaten the other Big HW. And Usyk recently come on the map, and it became a big 4. Not just that, but Fury will be the only one, to actually fought all of the other 3 big HW, Wilder, AJ and Usyk. This ain't a weak era at all. So his resume will be undeniable, even by his biggest haters. Fury has top 10 ATG road ahead of him. As you know i like AJ, he just doesn't have that, cause he already lost twice to Usyk, and also lost to Ruiz. Even if he beats Fury, and rule the division and beat the other top HW, he is still not going to have what Fury can have if he wins over Usyk and AJ. Also Fury beating AJ and Usyk will mean he clean the top fighters of the division and will be regard as a H2H monster, probably top 3 in the whole history in this sport. Yeah i don't like Fury, but i'm always fair. Just like i was when i said that Fury has the best resume at the HW after he beat Whyte and he still does.
I honestly think it's going to be a walkover and this is coming from someone who believed the 3rd Wilder fight was a risk for Fury. People go on about the Cunningham fight as some sort of 'blue print to beat Fury as a CW', despite the fact Cunningham was knocked out and spent the next 10 years complaining that 'Fury was too big'. It's bizzare.
Cunningham was a tough tough man also never been stopped. Fury is a bigger more mature fighter. He's seen it all before, knows exactly what Usyk brings. That eastern europeon style is not a worry for Fury who can throw from all angles and distances. Usyk's footspeed advantages and the way he takes angles to find a hole to close distance and get his shots off is all great but when it's against such a bigger man who also knows how to box it will all be neutralized. It was no walk in the park against the bodybuilder...Fury will be hell. I bet Usyk did give Wlad fits in sparring because once you're past his jab he has nothing just a static target. Which the same as AJ.
1. Usyk defeats AJ 2. Usyk calls Fury or he is not interested in any other fight 3. Fury agrees and talks start for December 4. Usyk refuses with some excuses, valid or not and he insists on "some time" in 2023 5. Usyk used to fight three times a year even against top contenders when he was a cruiser 6. Fury agrees to wait for 2023 as he has no other choice anyway 7. Fury will probably do a fight while waiting 8. People accuse Fury of ducking Usyk, but skip to do so if we go back to 2, 3 and 4
I think it is even too obvious: the guy doesn't want to play by the rules of the boxing authorities as they themselves do not follow them strictly. In a way, this is the right thing to do and more fighters should do it. After all, whatever he talks, he fights at the end and is so far undefeated, all fair with no gifts from referees or judges.
