I don't get it, Wach KOd Hammer in 6 rounds but now this is a tough fight for Fury?
This is a low risk fight not to lose the mando spot.

He would lose that fight too so why risk to lose mandatory spot?

NTM......Hammer was the man to rid the division of the ch0mo known as L@rsen.

And he did it by devastating KO.

First KD was eerily similar to the Pajkic KD on Fury, but L@rsen had blown his load, and Hammer can go 12 hard rds.:think

Bad fight for Hammer. Kid shoulda been looking to rematch Wach or Bydenko. Both would look beautiful on his title challenger resume.

But a L to Fury is gonna set him back and it's an L he'll not be able to avenge.:think

Hammer is like a Romanian version of Chisora

I remember being impressed by his KO is over Leif L****n, but I don't think he's good enough to trouble fury

Nope....L@rsen thought he'd impose his size on Hammer, and Hammer is like Chisora. Good shout. Pretty well conditioned to inside fighting.

However.....his outside skills are also eerily familiar with Chisoras, in that he uses his gloves to block shots rather using his head to slip them.

Fury, like Wlad, Pulev, Dimitrenko and a few others, is a sharpshooter from the outside. He'll keep Hammer on the backfoot with the jab and 1-2......then tie up or counter off the backfoot himself.

This goes 12 onesided and boring rds.

We're not gonna see the exciting tough guy who Fury is deep down until he's matched or overmatched from the outside.:think

**** fight, Fury is going to be shocked at the jump in class when he gets in the ring with Klitschko. Ciocan is not a threat.

As your USERNAME suggests.....Wlad is indeed......SIMPLYTHEBEST.

So now matter who he fights is gonna be shocked at the leap in class when they get in the ring with him.

Look at Pulev. Dominates other big men like Dimitrenko and Ustinov from the outside, then tries to fight like Tyson vs Wlad.

We see how well that worked out for him.:lol:

The biggest problem in the Heavy div is that all guys looking for shortcuts and easy way to the title. They dont fight top dogs, they fight some bum and when step in to the ring with the Champ, he outclass them all.
This guys just go for the easy road and for the big money, cause the big money come from a fight with the Champ.
And some idi*** blame Klitschko about his opponent choice, but say nothing about his opposition opponent choice.
So Wlad can fight the best at 38 years old, but the others i**** arround can`t fight the best ?
Who exactly is this Hammer ? 17-3, and Wach simply destroy him ....
So how exactly Wach is a bum, but Hammer is not a bum ?
How exactly Wlad can be criticize for fithing Wach or Pianeta, were both of them was unbeaten, but guys like Fury, Pulev and so on can be smashed to the ground for their opponent choice.
Anyway when fight Fury - Klitschko happen, Klitschko will KTFO with Fury.

Not in the past 18 months or so.

He's got a degree in law, so he's probably looking to build his practice I guess.

Waste of talent if you ask me.

He'd still be a top 20 HW if he'd just run thru the Gaverns and the Austins of the division.:think

Hammer is an ok heavyweight, nothing special at all though. He's on a bit of a winning streak and there's a few ok wins in there.

I would have expected someone even easier than this in all honesty. I thought Fury might face a Joey Abell type of guy and Hammer is better than that.

The difference between Chisora and Hammer is that Hammer can actually throw a decent punch. A far more dangerous fight for Fury than slapping Chisora.
