Hopefully Price retires, he and Seth Mitchell's chins don't belong in boxing.

Fury really does need to take Ustinov i was excited for that. Or Pulev

Well he's said he's going to the wilder vs stiv fight, if true let's hope he gets in the ring after the fight and calls out the winner.

chisora. I dont rate this hammer watched that fight vs the brazilian or whatever and hes really lacklustre and dont step on the gas. Chisora i know i know he knows he cant beat Fury, fury is a better boxer, bigger and chisora dont hit hard enough or properly to trouble tyson. But derek chisora would beat this hammer guy. Probably UD. :good

He got his eardrum broke in an exchange vs Thompson in the first fight.

The second fight saw him winning pretty handily before he gassed.

He was never truly hurt in either fight.

Get lost with that chin business irt Price. He's long and he's gonna take shots due to his size and willingness to infight, just like Fury at times.

However, comparing him to Mitchell, who chicken dances from glancing blows from soft punching small HWs is ludicrous.

Price will be back stronger than ever. He's a mirror image of Wladimir Klitschko.:deal

Tyson Fury is scared to death of big lads :yep
This fight is as safe as it gets. Hammer's WBO ranking doesn't matter. I mean they had Leapai as a mando :lol::lol:

I feel you, I think Price has a very strong offensive ****nal to call it a day on him, and he will bounce back. But another 1 or at max 2 falters and its pretty much done.

I remember the same exact posts being made about Wlad on Boxing Insider after the Sanders loss.

Not saying Price is <= Wladimir......not by a long shot am I saying that.....but saying he should retire and that he's got a glass jaw is ret@rded. He took a helluva pounding from Thompson in the rematch and never so much as buckled. He gassed.....but he also nearly ended it in grand fashion early with his power. Thompson was lucky to not have been decapitated by the right hands Price laid on him in the 2nd and 3rd rds.

Price might NEVER be a world titlist, much less a dominatn Champion like Wlad, but atm, he's no less than a top 30 HW, and still a great prospect IMO. Even at 30 y/o.

He can get it together and beat a guy like Chaggy, and I would give him a 70% chance of KO1ing Wilder if Wilder dared to call on him for a title defense. :good

Agree on pretty much all of that. What about the fact Price only had 15 pro fights going into the fight against( all be it an over the hill and slow as molasses) 6'5 southpaw, who's only loses the last 13yrs were both title shots vs. Wlad.

    Undoubtedly.

His two losses came against a top 10 ATM fighter. Even at 43, he's still looking to fight a rematch against fellow top 20 Solis.

And Im sure he'd be willing and game to rematch Takam or fighter the Wilder/Stiverne winner.

And chances are......he'd win against Wilder, Solis and about 1/2 of the top 20. Guy is like good whiskey.....better with age. :yep

Price was bold to pick him the first time round.....bad move by his team to put him in straight away with him in a rematch, eardrum or not.

Now that he's got some decent W's under his belt again....a trilogy may be in order. If he loses that one.....might be time to consider himself a gatekeeper ala Walker, Arreola, Chisora. But by no means should retirement cross his mind. Hell, guys like Welliver, McCall, Danny Williams etc are all continuing to bang, long after their primes and their days of contention.:huh

Kudos to Team Fury for giving us another good matchup. I was expecting Browne, frankly. But I suppose Fury is more confident against smaller guys. It's unlikely that Hammer will land much but this is Fury so who knows...maybe Fury will make a mistake and Hammer will land a lucky shot.

Contrast this with Pulev who was not afraid to take on Dimitrenko and Ustinov in order to be optimally prepared for Klitschko. Although it didn't do him much good....

2015 is going to be a great year for the heavyweight division. Povetkin/Perez, Fury/Hammer, Stiverne/Wilder, Glazkov/Cunningham, Joshua/Johnson are all on dock...not to mention Huck, Haye, and Tarver moving up into the mix.

Fury wouldn't score a knockout like Wlad, but he would turn Pulevz face into a pulp and get a late stoppage.

Also, can the Price talk just stop. He has being exposed and has a weak chin, crumbles under pressure and has no heart. Fair enough he's come back to a certain degree, but in reality is a big talentless lump.
