Toe to toe? What fight did you watch? Wlad went hug to hug, clinch to clinch , foul to foul for most of the fight.

He abandoned boxing. His plan was go go for gold with one big punch. Which he eventually got in round 5 immeadiately after the ref told off Pulev for throwing a punchatsch:roll:

Pulev fought a great fight. Wlad matched him punch for punch and took his best.
Sadly for Pulev and Wlad haters.....Wlad took Pulevs best combos, but Pulev could not take Wlads second best single shots.

 

For 5 rounds , there was very little meaningful punches landed.

Yeah the more I watch Wlad the less I like him.

He's still the best HW on the planet, but both him and his brother seem like snakes in disguise and complete scumbags under their nice guy covers.

All fight he pushed and clinched Pulev, and that final KO blow, he shoved Pulev to the ground after hitting him. That coupled with their BS before the fight to psych the other guy out, and the fact that every fighter they promoted leaves them saying their ruthless penny pinchers just really bugs me

 

You're wrong there. If the money is right K2 have proven they take risks. Wlad fought Haye which many thought was a risky fight. Wlad fought Povetkin in Moscow, which many believe to be a risky move. Both fights were huge payday for Wlad that's why he took them.

If Fury can bring together interest in the UK and secure PPV income K2 will be all over this fight. Money talks.

 

Um, what? Wlad knocked Pulev down 5 times.

 

If Fury wants the fight in UK he just has to take another easy fight after Hammer, then wait for purse bid and outbid K2 like Povetkin's team did. No need for PPV.
