That is an oversimplification. There are actualy 3 groups here. Not 2. There are the haters, the nuthuggers and there are the sane boxing fans who want to see the best man win.

Rather, it’s keeping it as simple as it actually is, duly referencing the two extreme groups in question.

You yourself used the term “Haters” while the opposing corner might invoke the equal and opposite term “Nuthuggers”.

So, in using the term “Haters”, you’re right while the other side employing the term “Nuthuggers” is somehow wrong?

One could argue that sane boxing fans divorce themselves from recognising or using either of those two extreme labels.

 

There are 3 groups but some are finding that hard to grasp.

As for the 'labels', they are being cast around like confetti and unfortunately, impossible to ignore because the forum is full of them.

 

Well, I think I’ve made it clear that I thoroughly understand what you’ve tried to say here.

I’ve posted even handed critiques of Mike Tyson, all pros and cons - and have had the random poster call me a “Hater”, no more, no less. Lol.

I’ve refrained from firing back with “Nuthugger” (at least I hope I have ) but if I did use the term, then it would be problematic for me to complain about being called a “Hater” in the first instance.

Anyway, hell yeah, let the best man win in respect of how they measure up in fair combat against one another.

 

If the mods removed all references to 'haters' and 'nuthuggers', half the content here would disappear and people would have to focus on boxing instead of each other.

In summary, may the best man win.

 

Haha - that may well be true. Before that, I’d like to see all butt munching threads removed from the Lounge.
