There's a chance that Fury wasn't lying about Sugar Hill leaving and he's actually working with Ben Davison because he's going to try and box with Aj. But then again its Fury so he could be playing "mind games"
He never said anything to suggest he's "working" with Davison. Just the interviewee said he asked Davison his opinion. Davison knows that Fury has been training in the gym because they're friends.
Is Fury even training at the moment? He's gone very quiet on social media recently whereas before he was posting clips every day of him training and talking about the mental health benefits of exercise. I really like Fury and I hope he hasn't entered another low period.
