    It's happening

Everyone rejoice that we get another great fight between the two best heavyweights of this generation before they retire.

It's not happening, Usyk will duck the rematch and you will cry a river.

No one is going to duck 50 million a piece.

Excellent. Contrary to the majority opinion, and while being a Usyk supporter, I do not think that the outcome of this is a foregone conclusion. Fury had a couple of very good rounds you could feel there is a pattern. I think his corner has a huge responsbility in his loss. Usyk UD12 is the likely outcome but it is going to be very exciting.

    It's good for boxing.

I hope they will vacate majority of the belts and others will have a chance to become a champion

Usyk needs to rest a little and Fury needs to stay in shape.

What's the rematch purses like? Split should massively favour Usyk, he is the deserved A side now

Also I would have preferred the rematch to take place in December. Give maximum time to both fighters to recover and train again.

Good Aj had 2 chances despite fighting poorly first time out

Fury deserves another go. It will be competitive but usyk finishes him late this time

Just because he activates it doesn't mean it'll definitely happen.

It might not even mean it's likely.

What it does do (and it's perfectly sensible for Fury to do it) is keep Fury's options open...

Realistically, Fury's not going to do too much better and he only clearly won 2 rounds the first time, with a couple more close in different ways...
He had Usyk hurt, but couldn't finish him off - given his mediocre power and Usyks excellent chin, he'd need to be far better on the cards, which is difficult to imagine.

The purse split should now be in favor of Usyk. That 70/30 split was crazy for the first fight. So there are some big hurdles still left for a 2nd fight to be made.

Like Spence said a week after the fight. Give it some time and it will probably a different answer.

If the clauses were similar to Spence/Crawford where the winner got to specify the weightclass...

It'd be hilarious if Usyk got to demand that the rematch be at Bridger or even Cruiser

Almost certainly isn't, but it'd be hilarious.

if he is like your hero, he will retire and unretire 100 time and will never ever rematch your hero, and i hope he do that, and Fury eats a humble pie and learn his lesson.

That Gypsy fraud doesn't deserve rematch, especially as they try to rob Usyk that blatantly.
