hopefully when he gets his license back they will give him his real voice back instead of the Darth Vader one he has now
Hearing postponed - looks like there is some Karma around now with UKAD giving Fury some of his own medicine. A total shambles but it is good to see Fury getting fooked about for a change and Warden seething with rage.
I don't see how they can ban him when he hasn't been in a ring fir 18 months. Even if he got six months that's probably how long it will take to get him into shape.
For the refusing to be tested alone he can get up to 4 years. And with his demeanor against UKAD, they might screw him over big time.
I cant understand how he can have a hearing for this when it is around 2 years old? I also saw something that said his second test came back negative
Fury has failed 3 tests 2 with UKAD & 1 with VADA has there ever been a Heavyweight that's failed so many tests in the history of boxing?
How do you know , are you priviledged to something everyone else is'nt , They hav'nt released anything yet , they hav'nt suspended him yet ,, In fact thats the problem they hav'nt done anything yet . He's admitted to the BBBC that he took cocain , but then claimed mental problems and gave himself a ban .. I think this could bankrupt UKAD if there not careful ,, if its found they have stoipped him from earning , shudder to think of the potential earnings lost he could sue for ,, and that alone is a reason they may stitch him up
He has failed 2 as far as we know (UKAD 1, VADA 1). Although there also was a refused test that everyone seem to glance over, but really is the big pink elephant standing in the middle of the boxring, leaving no room for Fury in there. I expected UKAD to screw Fury over, like I posted in this thread. Didn't expect it to be like this... Karma I guess.
The whole thing is a farce and really shouldnt take so long. However let's not forget fury failed tests so he still has to take plenty of blame. UKAD can only go after him for failed tests. Fury gave them that chance.
There are definitely some underhand tactics going on here to ensure Fury's return to the ring is delayed. Yes, the bloke has ****ed up, but the original offence happened over two years ago so why is it still being dragged on? Potentially delayed until October? GTFOOH.
I would give Fury a 5 year ban starting from the date of the final hearing. No place in Sport for drugs.
Personally I accept that drugs have a place in sport. I never understood the moral panic surrounding the issue.
On the contrary, intelligent people understand that ethics is a complex subject. People who blindly see an issue such as "drugs in sport" as morally wrong are usually just braindead sheep following the tide of "public opinion". Professional boxing is far more morally dubious, in my opinion.
