Agreed - would be enormously underwhelming.

Agit Kabayel has fought like 6 times in 6 years with his last two wins being the level of Kevin Johnson and Pavel Sour..

you do not believe in ring rust
    that is up to you

no boxer will forget how to box
but staying in active competition will make them better
    in any sport

    regardless of that
I would rather see Fury v AJ in December than not.

AJ really needs a warm up. He needs to win convincingly against someone, preferably a top 10 heavyweight. It will help hype/sell the fight as well as people may actually think he could beat Fury coming off a convincing win, rather than fighting him after losing to Usyk,

Warm up? He's fought the best non stop for years.

If there's a HW that needs a warm up, as well as a good win, it's Wilder. Ortiz isn't in the top 10 anymore (his only top 10 win for the last few years may I add), and he hasn't won a fight in years. Shocking how that's Tysons second best win really!!

Whyte is Tyson second best win after Wlad. Far superior record to Wilder who has avoided the best in the divison for years. Could even make a debate for Chisora being as good as Wilder.

    yes he should be fighting
    what is your point?
you want them to fight once every 1 or 2 years or even not at all?

Lots of people saying this fight is being announced next week (we can only hope) personally I can’t help but feel this has Fury V Agit Kabayel written all over it with the whole justification being ‘well we offered AJ the fight’..

Hope you are right. I’m hoping the silence at both ends is a good sign.
