I can see what you're implying, that any dedicated boxer who lives the life, has the right team, knows how to do the weight and how to peak properly should be able to be match fit in 12weeks, I agree, but in this sport its not like that is it, would be great if it was but its not

All the politics, he said she said, who's gonna broadcast it, wheres it gonna be, what side can get the contract as close as possible and all that other bulls**t that messes everything right up makes it different, so, so many fights have overcooked, and most camps want a good bit of notice before any of them even steps into camp and begins

And you have the fact that AJ has not long peaked, and had a taxing fight physically and mentally, and peaking a heavyweight is completely different to peaking a welter or a middle; so all things considered, after Usyk putting him through the ringer, I'd still say its far from the norm for 2 top names in boxing these days to step in with each other 12weeks from the word go, like a moody white collar event, would be great if they did, us forum bods wouldn't have to moan so much when the likes of spence and Crawford keep dilly dallying round each other

To be honest, in three months I could turn from the fat wheezing slob I am to fighting fitness no bother, and I don't have special sauce, a team of professional nutritionists or a trainer - plus Joshua is already in great shape.

If anything, it could be a bad thing for Fury that he is coming off another training camp and fight, he'll be raring to go.

Three months is plenty long enough.

Ruiz Jr was coming off a fight and had less notice than that to fight Joshua and we all know how that turned out.

There’s definitely an element of trying to catch AJ at the right time tho. He loses 2 fights and his confidence is shot and all of a sudden Fury is eager to make the fight. You can say what you like about AJ but this guy isn’t ducking anyone. I wish more fighters had his mindset.

Was watching an interview with Hearn last night and he said they tried to negotiate certain aspects of the contract and Fury’s team just flat out said no this is the deal take it or leave it. So AJ has taken it so there’s no reason why this fight shouldn’t be made now.

Fury has been trolling AJ for the best part of a week asking AJ to accept the terms and now he has Fury has gone completely silent. I’m still a bit sceptical tbh but hopefully they are just busy finalising the deal.

Not seen anything from Fury for a couple of days now, can't see him being a royalist (though can see him pretending to be), he was all mouth last week. Has he not said anything since Joshua accepted ?

I can see there being an official announcement of the fight at Joyce/Parker. Frank likes announcing big fights on his own cards and plus they will be in Manchester and Tyson will be there too support Parker. Wonder if AJ will be in attendance?

No negotiations, accept the offer or go away… AJ has accepted. Come on Fury, your bluff has been called

Fury is only offering the fight because he wants to DUCK AJ.
It's been a WHOLE WEEK why hasn't it been announced?
He wouldn't shut up on social media last week and then the QUEEN DIED and all of a sudden he's not posting BS anymore HE'S DUCKING!1
AJ and Hearn accepted his incredibly reasonable if not generous offer immediately THEY CALLED HIS BLUFF!1!

    Highly logical reasoning.

So Tyson wants the fight then? You must be joking if you think he does.

both the first and second Fury v Wilder fights had one of the other fighter coming in with the same or less time between previous fight and them meeting.

if it advantages anyone it advantages Joshua. knowing how Fury tends to drink and gain weight

Fury’s team are sending a contract aren’t they, so until that’s accepted what can Fury say really? Both clearly want the fight, the messy part will be sorting the broadcast situation which actually sounds like it is progressing somewhat.

we will find out in due time

I tend to think Fury wasn't bluffing
if he was bluffing he would've stuck to the November 12 date once he saw AJ was calling his bluff
because despite what some Fury haters and AJ fans say here December 3rd was always something that AJ had no reason to reject at all
    & that was obvious
so I would assume Fury said okay December 3rd to get the fight made rather than playing some stupid game
Fury and everyone knows December 3rd is a good date and was 12 weeks and 3 days away when he offered it. so clearly AJ would take it.

    seen this all before though.
first Wilder fight and second Wilder fight people were saying Fury's not serious he's going to bail, etc.

both fighters are probably already sorting out and beginning training schedules now

whether the fight will happen I think really does depend on whether BT and DAZN can agree the broadcasting terms

Joshua is a massive underdog here, I'm not sure how Fury deals with that side of things, being the heavy favourite in a massive fight.
