If that is what Fury wants then for me that is a duck.

For types of fights, 50/50 given the commercial value AJ brings. Given he has lost his last 2, 55/45 would also be fair.

No excuses why this doesnt happen now - would be a great bookend to the year as well and on home soil.

Prediction wise, i do favour Fury but AJ does have a punchers chance and it would be a fun fight

That’s his opening gambit of course so the position may change.

I think it’s clear both fighters want the fight so no, it can’t be see as a ‘duck’.

It's just going to be a massive negotiation about who deserves what, which channel the fight is shown etc.

33% each with the remaining 33% going to the winner.

Put it on both BT PPV and DAZN PPV. As it's on more than one platform buys will be higher and the fighter will get more money as the fight is more accessible if someone doesn't have BT but has DAZN or vice versa.

It obviously won’t be 33% each and it’s right the champion gets a larger share.. would be nice if it was that simple though.

Warren has told talksport it would be in November in the UK. That doesn’t sound realistic at all.

Can't do Cardiff in November because that's when the rugby internationals are.

I'm assuming he misspoke and meant December but annoyingly nobody picked up on it and they just started boring on about splits and "I thought Fury wanted $500 million".

November probably wouldn’t be anywhere near enough time for a media run for a fight of this size. They’d have to start this week really if the fight was actually signed.

    Hopefully he meant December.

Let’s face it though it won’t be in the UK either, but they probably need Hearn to make a big money Saudi fight.

    Fury knockout.

Joshua has a punchers chance just like Whyte did, nothing more, Joshua is out matched by Fury in every department apart from sponsorships and Mitchys CV

Fury should be the A side and get 60-40. Fury had 96,000 in Wembley, which is more than any Joshua fight. So you cant say AJ is a bigger draw. Champ + marginally bigger draw = 60 - 40

Can't really call Fury a bigger draw when he only he has only had one stadium fight whilst AJ has had 6 stadium fights. As well it wasn't long ago when Fury struggled to give away tickets e.g Wallin and Schwarz fights.

I feel it’s going to be hard to demand a big wedge if, as I suspect, they’re going to rely on Hearn to bring in huge Saudi money. Warren’s offer for a UK fight will look pretty small time in comparison, and it’s not like a US fight can be an option now.

Maybe the 33/33% is wishful thinking but positive sounds coming from Hearn and Warren. A joint PPV makes sense. No need to mess around with purse bids.
