Hearn couldn't believe his luck when Fury walked away and it looked like he was ducking Joshua.

No such luck anymore. He knows if Joshua doesn't sign it's not a good look.

A fight of that magnitude takes time to promote. Use your ears. Even Warren said he'd like more time. At least with Tyson/Joyce it's all in house. A fight with AJ is going to take a lot of compromise all around.

Oh I see, it wasn't about training but promotion.
So why has he agreed to an earlier date and is in discussions for it? Why hasn't he expedited the process and signed for it already? Frank Smith says they need 12 weeks to promote, they've now got 8 and still haven't signed the contract because apparently they're busy with Conor Benn media days (something his trainer didn't even bother with).

Does AJ getting knocked out by Tyson really tarnish his future that much?

I mean obviously it wouldn't be great on his first Dazn show but surely they could start the rebuild after this fight?

He would still have big fights left with Joyce, Wilder, Whyte and etc where he can get back in the big time.

Hearn's showing no urgency on this.
he's fortunate Fury's said some crazy stuff about deadlines and Charr. so he can spin his own disinterest in this fight onto Fury.

if he receives the kind of shelling Wilder received in the 2nd and 3rd fight ..... it is not so much the impact on his commercial pulling power per se, although that would be considerable ...
the question becomes - will he ever fight again? and when?

it's one thing get outboxed by Usyk and having a little tantrum and calming down and saying i want a fight soon.
but Fury is very capable of ruining him quite severely.

The irony. Big stiff dosser handing out lucozade sport at the London marathon too keep them energised. Not a pen insight.

This is getting dull now. You realise it takes two people to sign something? Fury clearly hasn't signed anything yet either if the contract is still with the respective lawyers. Nor will he, if Queensberry or his own lawyers don't tell him it's ready to sign.

Only banter Mr Flaps but what I will say is Tyson can't sign what Edward has in his possession.

There’s no way “Ajay” would get in with Joyce or Wilder coming off a beating by Fury. Even if he won he’d be looking for another “top 10” like Molina, Breazeale, Pulev, Martin, Parker, Takam type. The problem with that is that he’s not even guaranteed to beat them, look at the Ruiz hammering. A shot Whyte is a safe bet.

The fact that we've not heard a peep out of Tyson/Frank/Eddie in days is probably a good sign. If this was dead in the water Fury would be ranting and raving online.

I think Frank's told him to stfu for a few days while he tries to work something out.
