VADA would prevent this fight from ever happening.

But honestly I believe Holy would knock him out early on. He has a come forward style and isn't afraid against bigger men. A lowblow overhand right combo would do the trick.

The thing is Fury wouldn't even pick himself against Holyfield , Tyson or Ali. And if he heard the things you said about Ali he'd want nothing to do with you.
Ali is a massive inspiration to Fury who he genuinely regards as the greatest of all time. He learned from past greats. He is a student of boxing history and values his peers for the all time greats they were.

Fury wouldn't pis on you to put out a fire.

Holyfield would walk him down and spark him. Fury not enough power to keep him off.

Holyfield likes to sing on the way to the ring. Fury likes to sing after the fight.
It is a toss up who the better singer is. I like Holyfield baratone over fury off key performance.

I'm no Holyfield fan, far from one in fact (as I think he's a dirty fighter in the ring and a drug cheat), but lets be serious. Fury has beaten Wlad, who has never faced a big man with any speed or skill and fought timid the whole night, afraid (for some reason!?) of what 'might' come back. Wlad has a lauded history of mental weakness, so taking that bizarre event out of the equation and you're left with the rest of the people Fury has beaten and struggled with.

Holyfield would not be afraid to engage Fury, he would not simply sit on the end of Fury's jabs, so unless we're talking about the version of Holyfield who got iced by Toney and beaten on points by Valuev (a fight I thought Holy won) then yeah, Fury wins. Any other even close to prime version of Holyfield takes Fury out in the first half of the fight.

As an AJ supporter, I have to disagree that AJ stops anyone in 6 rds or less. Whyte and Breaseale are by no means world beaters, and still lasted more than 6 rounds vs AJ.

It's a tough style match up for Holyfield. He tended to struggle more with the bigger heavies he fought such as Bowe, Foreman and Lewis. But that's if Fury fights a disciplined fight and keeps it long, something he may not do against a much smaller man who he may think poses no threat in terms of power. If Fury underestimates Holyfield like some did then he could very well find himself losing the fight.

Also what has Fury done other than beat Wlad who is past his best and would always struggle with Fury's style. Does one win over a great prove enough that we could favour him over an ATG like Evander? I mean Douglas beat Tyson and we all saw what Holyfield did to Douglas. Sure Douglas was over weight but how often is Fury in peak physical condition?

Fury will need to prove a lot more to me for me to pick him over an ATG like Holyfield who fights very differently to Wlad or anyone else Fury has faced. How does Fury cope with prime Evander's speed, aggression, combo's as well as his wayward head. Fury has done far too little and been far too erratic for me to confidently pick him over Holyfield. Fury could do it if everything fell into place but I wouldn't put money on it.

Nice post. I like the analysis.

I think that Holyfield is overrated and that Fury is a lot better than we thought he was ... but I want to see Tyson against more 'good' fighters before I start saying he beats a guy like Holyfield. Evander always brought the thunder and I don't see anybody beating him without a war.

slavaphobic ?? Is that meant to be a word?

When did Fury pick himself to beat Ali? Show me? He wants to be remembered as greater than Ali yet he packs the sport up after he becomes the champ?? :qmeparto:

Ali's army draft and Furys laziness . I can barely tell there's any difference

Lol@ calling me a liar and claiming you're a relative of Fury. You're a white power degenerate POS and the complete opposite of everything Fury stands for.
As i said , he would pis on you to put out a fire.

Holyfield was a great counterpuncher and we all saw what happened to Fury against Cunningham. Beating Wlad has no bearing on how he'd perform against Holyfield.
