Tubbs, could be slick defensively, not big puncher but good ring IQ . Proved his toughness, alongside the other 80 s guys. Up against Fury, With his size advantage,his awkwardness and surprising mobility. And this Will be over the old school distance of 15 , which maybe or maybe not, can make a difference Here.?
Fury does have a much longer reach, and, he might be able to win a close decision. But it would definitely be competitive. Fury is nowhere near as fast as Tubbs. Tubbs lack of discipline could be a problem, but, he is a better boxer than anybody Fury beat.
Tubbs at his best befuddles and outboxes the overrated Fury. Tubbs past his prime came within a whisker of almost beating a near prime Bowe. Tubbs has the handspeed and movement to make Fury look awkward.
