Its been kind of crazy to follow along on Dereck's crazy career, from his start as a blue chip prospect who was slicing his way through the UK competition. Then he looked bloated in the loss to Fury, followed by the robbery to Helenius, the loss to VK, the brawl and kayo defeat to Haye. It looked over after Haye beat and he was 1-4 out of his last five. But then he won 5 straight including good wins over Malik Scott and Kevin Johnson before he was wrecked again by Fury. Again it looked like it was over for Dereck but he went on another decent streak with his only three losses since by split or majority decision. I'm really curious to see what happens next. You have to commend the guy for his persistence, because most high level fighters would probably check out emotionally after going through all that, especially those two embarrassing kayo losses.
