    Round 5

Fury is starting to open up now, clubbing down with a right waving in from the side, unseen. Hammer is hitting the forearms chasing and lunging up with his predictable beeline jab and cross. Hammer flicks a light jab, lulling Hammer, and loops a hard right, crashing into Hammer's left eye from above, flooring him. Hammer gets off his knees and moves forward to mix it up, showing he's unafraid. Fury clinches, then pops jabs and clubs in a few more wide rights as Hammer starts to shell up.

    10-8 Fury

    50-44 Fury

    Round 6

Hammer is jumping in, looking to rattle off a couple of scooping blows on the flabby gut of Fury before he gets held. The ref warns Hammer for leading with the head, threatening a point. Fury is throwing light combos, almost pantomiming with them, shadowboxing with Hammer just happening to be standing right in front. Fury is hitting mostly glove, but preventing Hammer from getting anything off. Lots of tying up. Little variation on theme, beside Fury occasionally switching to southpaw. No drama.

    10-9 Fury

    60-53 Fury

    "He's still dangerous!"

    - Fury's corner as he prepares to leave his stool for the 7th.

Time to cruise and force Hammer to run into something.

Obviously Hammer is a quality top 20 with some pop. Still quite dangerous, and no sense in throwing away your title shot for heroics.

how exactly does fighting small hw's with no power prepare Fury for Wlad or Wilder? Hammer hasn't one decent win to his name either.

Fury only does what needs to be done, it is kinda frustrating to watch when he could get him out there early.
