Tyson Fury vs David Tua !!!

Tua is shot, I have no desire to see that fight. Tua got beat by a washed up Monte Barret a year and a half ago and hasn't fought since. That fights a mismatch.

Fields isn't very good and is retired, I don't think anyone is interested in that. Lawrence is ok but pretty unknown I don't know if Fury actually fights him but he's ok I guess.

Liahkvich is also pretty faded and stands little chance. Jennings had 12 pro fights and took Lyackovich apart and that was almost a year ago and Liakhovich hasn't fought since, not a very interesting fight.

Chagaev is the best option of that group and still a solid fighter, especially for someone at Fury's current level so that would be the fight I'd most like to see if its from one of these 5.

So, I'd say Chagaev is a good choice, Lawrence is next and I'd be fine with that match up. The other 3 are one-sided fights that pose little interest.

Out of the five names mentioned I actually think Lawrence is the best option as regards current threat level and quality of opp; he just doesn't bring that name recognition. The rest are either ****, horribly shot or horribly ****ing shot.

 

Chagaev is kinda' shot as well, but at 34 years old he's much too young to be facing Fury.

Fury likes 'em nice and seasoned. The average age of his last 4 opponents is 37.



But seriously, I'd love to see him face Tua. Fury would likely win, of course, but Tua would have a small chance of exposing Fury's weak defense. That would be a beautiful thing.

Tua is shot to ****, no power, no chin, no work rate he'd be a sitting duck. But this is clearly a keep busy fight until the Chisora fight in the summer.

 

I agree I cant wait to see this fight tomorrow!! Thursday night fights are always the best!!

 

And yet, he still stands a chance of whipping the **** out of Fury..he's just not talented. :nono
