No, AJ is still a massive draw, the winner of AJ v Fury may become a superstar in the UK, that fight will get amazing attention in the UK, could be the making of the winner.

The tone of resignation in your posts is hilarious. It’s like coming to terms with the fact that you have a dumb son.

It's important to know that China/SK/Japan and to an extent SEA ... but especially north east Asia, perhaps doesn't work like a US/UK/European market for entertainment products/general products.

For example K-Pop works in two streams ... there's the one above, where based on an earlier hit or two a fan base will build up over time and follow what a group/artist is doing step by step ... but far more prominent is a sudden bang surrounded by mass hype. In Japan they call it 'mania'. People even on this forum have commented about Korea as in how a fad can take off because one famous person is into it, and people follow, all in super quick time. One minute tattoos are taboo and only worn only by criminals ... 6 months later masses of people are getting tattoos and there are tattoo parlors springing up everywhere.

A heavyweight title fight in China, basically taps into nationalism. The nationalism behind China hosting the fight would be all that was needed to promote it. It would promote itself. People in China who have never taken an interest in boxing would be caught up in it within days.

I never disputed that Joshua is a massive draw. Of course he is! I just happen to believe that Fury is more popular amongst the fighting public at the moment.

I don't believe that Fury vs Wilder III will take place in China.
