Deontay Wilder announcer he is flying to Belfast on Friday so it seems pretty sure this will be announced in the ring on Saturday.

I'm not asking who wins the fury who beat klitschko vs wilder. I'm asking about the 2018 versions.

For my part, I cannot see Fury winning. Even a PRIME fury wouldn't be a dead cert imo as he can switch off from time to time and if neven pajkic , Nicolai firth a and USS can hurt you then Wilder has a chance. Fury would need to fight his most disciplined fight because Wilder would go for broke unlike Wlad.

I'd favour Fury bit i think he'd have to ride some serious waves.

Current Fury I don't give much of a chance. I'd be shocked if he has 12 round stamina, Peter Fury isn't training him and he won't have that calming influence, and his movement won't be the same.

Wilder is technically awful so I imagine even a diminished Fury will be able to take a few rounds off him but I think by round 5-6 it'll become obvious that Fury isn't what he was. Wilder will land something huge and Fury will get highlight reel ko'd and need to be on mental health watch for a while after.

Do we know if they plan to have this fight uk or stateside?

To begin with I thought fury coming back was just for one last big payday and that would be that. Now that we’re here after all that time and effort he’s put in he’s shown he means business. I just hope pianeta gives him some rounds

Wilder is very beatable but hard to carry out a game plan against someone with that height and reach which he uses well. Fury can have a lot of success countering and confusing wilder, I still think he’ll get banjoed mid rounds and then chase and AJ fight afterwards

Cannot see this in 2018 as PED Fury's comeback includes lining up Lee McAllister, Larry O, Kevin Johnson, Shannon Briggs then a PPV Trilogy against Toni Bellew.

Could be 2020 before PED Fury is ready.

Puncher against boxer...(and a highly skilled 6”9 boxer at that). We know which one more often than not wins that dynamic. I’m seemingly one of a few that actually likes the awkward, huge punching Wilder, but he’s never fought anyone like Fury. Fury will be fearful of that big right hand and he’ll nullify the threat with his footwork and ring IQ.

I am going way against the grain and saying Fury by stoppage. I realize that in his biggest win, he threw a lot of pitty-pat **** and toyed with Klitschko, but when he wants to hit, he hits almost as hard as Wilder. Really Wilder, for all of his vaunted power, has failed to best the performances of guys like Demetrice King and Ashanti Jordan in dispatching the cripples that constitute his "title defenses," whereas Fury has a couple of nice stoppages against Hammer and Chisora.

I think Fury makes a fool of him for ten rounds, gets bored, and decides to land something. Since he is not a 40 year old heart patient, a school teacher, a cruiser, a pastry chef, or a fat guy (well, anymore,) he takes him right out there there.

Then onto Joshua to determine the real champion.

IF he’s the same fighter as he was, yes...

Can’t see it though...he’s had a longtime out, still overweight, being trained by a glorified PT and clearly his sparring partners aren’t having trouble hitting him as he often has a black eye...

I've seen a few pictures of Fury now, that weight loss is outstanding. There's a huge difference between the Fury that fought Seferi vs the Fury that is about to fight Pianeta. If his weight is what I think it is and I'm not seeing illusions, and providing he looks good against Pianeta, then Deonkey Wilder's reign comes to an end.

Of course, he should have had more fights. But what do we know.. Fury is a clever guy behind the joker personality, very clever, you can see it in some of the interviews he does.

I think the huge thing in this fight that swings it in Fury's favour is his height. Luis Ortiz had the skill, but lacked the movement and height to keep Wilder at range. Fury is the first opponent Wilder has faced who can truly CONTROL him and keep him away. Wilder hasn't fought anybody taller than him AND faster than him before. How's he going to feel when he can't use the jab to setup the right hand? That's his whole game.

Fury is going to rip that belt off Deonkey's waist.

    There are levels in boxing.

This fight will be reminiscent of Ward-Kovalev 1.
