I love Del Boy but I'd genuinely rather see Haye come out retirement and fight Fury than watch that. At least the build up if nothing else would make it seem like a legit fight looming rather than 2 dudes sucking each other off.
To be honest the heavyweight division full of "I punch hard, but can't go 10 rounds without gassing" kind of guys. With the exception of Uysk and maybe Joyce. So who else is there that could give Tyson Fury a hard fight? He is too big sorry.
I have always said Whyte was overrated lol. It was his delusional fans who had him on this lofty pedestal. Somehow even after getting flatlined by a 40 year old Povetkin people still kept the Whyte hype train going, that should have been the end of the discussion.
Whyte always looked shaky when he stepped up, he barely made it past Chisora twice. Was floored heavily and almost KO'ed by Parker, floored again late by Rivas, KO'ed by an old Povetkin as you pointed out.
And to think this idiot STILL wants to fight Wilder! I cannot think of a more perfect opponent for Wilder to regain his confidence. That would be a public execution. Whyte has leaky defense, no head movement, brittle chin, not particularly fast, low ring IQ, it's a recipe for disaster.
He knocked AJ down and lost and that was enough for people to think be was a potential top dog of the division from that point on.. I agree with you - but at the end of the day - be was ranked highly and can’t really be considered a “light touch” or whatever. Wilder x 3, Whyte, and Wallin is almost easily the toughest string of fights of any current heavyweight….. …but haters will hate… Edit: I forgot about the Schwarz guy, that was a light touch - still, 1 out of 6 ain’t bad - and winning all of them.
I cannot see Chisora fighting again after that beating he took last weekend. His body language after the fight was all wrong. I think he is damaged badly
