The South/North Americans never travel. They never come to Europe in their thousands to support their fighter. Let's face it your fans are quite rubbish.

Because it was a pointless fight.

Fury looked slow in his last two fights and still won. Imagine if Fury was even 70% his best? Whyte would be ko'd in 1.

I suspect it did about 500,000-600,000 PPV buys in the UK. Proving that AJ is the UK PPV King. Numbers don’t lie.

If Fury is so popular he should be able to carry the PPV by himself. Whyte is a known attraction in the UK PPV market. Shows Sky Sports Box Office better than BT Sports . This really should have got in close to 1 Million PPV buys in the UK. Did this even make a profit for Queensbury and Matchroom?

The fight was geared around Brits / Europe + the gate receipts at Wembley

I’d be shocked if the fight broke even, they overbid and then Warren put his ego above promoting the event.

Why should they travel from their warm, friendly countries? Unlike the drunken louts who jump at the chance run from a cold, foggy pimple in the North Sea?

The fact that promoters depend on US PPV buyers to make up the vast majority of the income for a big fight would say otherwise.

Promoters can't charge fans in the UK what they charge here or no one there would buy it.

When we decide not to buy a fight, we're "rubbish fans." It's comical.

Truth is, they can fill up Wembley with as many Neil Diamond fans as they want, and people could talk about Fury being the greatest personality ever, and people could say Whyte was denied a shot for years ... but if US fans don't pay for it ... or one Sheik in the Middle East doesn't fork over tens of milions basically for him and a couple friends ... it's a flop.

And they didn't. So it was a flop.

Open up your wallets and spend as much as we do, and you won't have any problems.

Everyone else has been "picking up the check" for decades. It's your turn. Pony up.

Two Brits PPV flopped in the American market is not really the shock of all shocks. That **** was not marketed it at all over here. Even if it was marketed over here, no Americans were fighting so it would still be destined to flop

I'm not talking about purchasing fights silly, i'm talking about how Americans don't travel to Europe to support their fighters.
