Let's say he partakes in promoting the fight and with his participation they net another 100k ppv buys. Him receiving 20% of the revenue while Tyson collects 80% just isn't worth it. He worked hard for his career high payday and opportunity and they screwed him, they'll have to pay him extra to participate or do every press conference alone.
Yeah but most play the game Whyte thinks he dont have to Let's hope the fans that have bought his PPV fights in the past remember this when Eddie chucks him on DAZN PPV moving forward
100,000 additional PPV buys at, what, $30 to $50 or $60 per PPV (depending on the country)? What's 20 percent of an additional $6 million? Worth attending a press conference.

In any job if you're going to add an incentive that incentive must encourage the employee to increase productivity otherwise there's motivation for doing it. Whyte is doing what Tyson's camp already knew he would do as a result of lowballing him.
In most of my job roles, you don't get paid for every single aspect of the job - there are expectations on you as an employee. I.e. do you get paid to be at work parties or staff functions? No. Of course Whytes not being paid to be at each press conference, he's getting 8 million for the fight and that comes with a level of professional expectation which he is not adhering to. It would not surprise me if the WBC step in anyway and dock him money if he keeps on with this.
It’s not denying the fans it’s denying Fury, Top Rank and Warren. They have been pissing him off behind the scenes so why should he play ball. They did not even give them proper notice to come etc. The fact he refuses to break training camp is indicative of a mindset who is going to everything to win. I am not a Whyte but I can’t fault him for not going to a one sided press conference where they were trying to disrespect him. His job is to be properly prepared and come in like a man on a mission like Lloyd Honeyghan against Don Curry.
Rubbish, it's absolutely denying the fans. Stop sugar coating it. Don't think Fury gives a **** either way.
Do you honestly think 100k people are gonna be persuaded to buy a boxing fight off the back of Dillian Whyte doing a press conference
