After Fat Mick had yet another postponement to this fight rejected by the BBBofC they let Frank Maloney have it with a deadline of 26/05/10. That deadline is today and nothing has been organised. It looks like both boxers have been messed about a bit by their promoters. Tyson Fury is one of the few prospects under Fat Mick that can make it big, so you'd thought he would concentrate on sorting his career out but seems to have spent all his efforts on his beloved Carl Froch but still messed that up. Then you have John Mcdermott who Frank Maloney says he cares alot for, but he has not fought since the first fight in Sept 09, and just think how many shows Frank Maloney has got in there, i mean surely he could have given John Mcdermott at least 1 or 2 6 rounders on the cards but no. I can see John Mcdermott retiring young unfortunately and Fury, well who knows, he says he wants to fight lots but htat ain't going to happen with Hennessy. Well Maloney still has a few hours to sort out a date and venue but i doubt it and if they are never going to meet for a rematch for whatever reason i wanna see them both back in the ring soon. What are your thoughts guys?
In all fairness to Maloney this rematch was supposed to be before xmas 09 then march then april then may and its been postponed everytime i think McDermott really wanted a proper training camp for it and didnt want to rik injury in a tune up but obviously with the delays he ahs ended up not fighting since its a complete sham. Its an abolute disgrace really this fight should have been made months ago but it has held 2 fighters careers back by well over 6 months
