Well he certainly wouldn't have been near the top end of the top 50 but he was just inside 45-50 somewhere for me. He was on a good streak beating Beck, Ding, Walker and Okello Peter. Taking most of those by big KO's too.

Well in any case, the 1:30 between rounds had to be pointed out one way or the other. And all you Fury nuthuggers better be ready to eat crow next week.

I can see a lot of people claiming this is what happened, and then a lot of people saying Fury was the effective aggressor and rightfully winning the majority of rounds. :think

a less skilled version of adamek vs chambers but not as convincing a performance by johnson as chambers had. fury will look just as sloppy but be slightly more effective and johnson will not land as often or as significantly as eddie did.

    Fury should have this convincingly.

Afterwards people like Cableaddict, PrinceN and jeanpaulvalley will say Johnson was robbed and "schooled" fury because he slipped a few punches despite not throwing anything back

At 24 Vitali had already been a Pro Kickboxing World Champ and was a world class Amateur boxer.

Was that the age he got brutally ktfo by a British journeyman kickboxer?

Or the year he got busted for being on ROIDS?

Vitali was also stopped in 1 by Oleg Maskaev.

    Dear Vitali,
Let’s stop the nonsense. When I fought you for the CSCA (Centrum

Club Army) Military Championship, I stopped you in the 1st round. You were badly hurt and your corner threw in the towel. Stop making excuses, stop lying and be a man and admit it. That was our 1st fight...
