He had a good chin but that was all. His fight with WLad was pathetic. He just stood there and didn't even land a punch on Wlads egg chin.

Man watch that fight again. Chambers hit him at will. It was a close fight. After Povetkin got that gift against Huck you all still try to claim he's good?

It was horrible to watch.. He had no clue how to cut off the ring and forgot that Wlad could be attacked to the body.

Have to give you credit for Dimentrinko you knew he was a soft Glass Jawed joke from the start.

Price was embarrassed by Wlad's fat out of shape sloppy seconds

Let's be honest, he will never get a title

That's true. No other fighter was able to get away with blatantly pushing Steve's face with an illegal forearm, then throwing a hidden KO punch behind it.

    Impressive !

I remember all of these things. I remember that I never rated Ustinov as better than Chisora. I'll remember that I think Kevin Johnson is on par or better with the Dimitrenko Pulev faced and that I figure Fury's performance was every bit as dominant as any of Pulev's against a name and as dominant as Vitali's was against the same man. I'll remember that Pulev couldn't take out Walker even though he was beating the bejesus out of him and a supposedly poor-punching heavy (unfair dinkum, in my opinion though) Adamek was able to lay enough on him to get a stoppage.

No, my point was simple and it wasn't that Fury is better than Pulev and it wasn't that I even favoured Fury, and it wasn't that Fury didn't look more vulnerable than Pulev in their careers so far. It was that I'm not going to just be a typical last-fight ****face and jump on the "Fury gets destroyed, easy, obviously" mongery. Because, frankly, Fury just beat a better guy than Pulev has at all, for the second time, and possibly third time, in my own estimation, and is more proven, despite more hiccups. I wouldn't be too sure of the outcome at all, really.

What hiccups may Pulev have had and how much more vulnerable might he look if he were in against Chisora (who I think poses a tougher style match against Pulev than against Fury) or Cunningham? Maybe he'd shine, maybe he'd look far less hopeful as a contender, the point is we don't know. But Fury took those tests and he passed them despite however you felt he looked. Let's not judge him on the problems over the ultimate success and Pulev just the success without having the problems necessarily in front of him.

...That would be all that I was implying with my goldfish comment, Robney. :p I quite like both guys as contenders.

Fury ruined USS with a body shot...He was getting ko'd forearm or no forearm.
And its impossible and stupidity to claim Fury is china chinned when he was never knocked out.
The very best have been kd'd.

Probably not. I didn't see his chin being that bad. Its ashame because he has the power to knockout any active heavyweight. The only way he may have a chance if he starts the jab and grab style like Wlad did.

True, but the big doofus still fought an ugly, bumbling fight, and won by an illegal KO.

If Fury's trainer wants to brag about this performance, then he deserves to get called on it.

Yeah remember how Farmboxer and the rest of the Wlad loving crew was hyping Dimentrinko? It was funny as hell when feather fisted CHambers exposed him for what I said he was. I'm just not sold on this Pulev guy.

Sorry I wont argue with you about boxing. You already said enough for me in order to know that you know **** about the sport.
But go on and belive Povetkin is **** and that Chagaev was garbage (this man was World Champion for **** sake). On the other hand you are hyping fighters like Fury and Price who showed nothing impressiv till now.
    Good bye.
