I'm of the opinion that if Fury stayed focused enough, Rocky doesn't land one meaningful punch in a 12 round bout. I don't really know why I'm being so reserved in my prediction either... Probably to avoid backlash because I can't be bothered with the conflict.

Ridiculous match up in the sense that Louis and Marciano are ATG's ..our Fury is who know what ?
A light fisted big guy who can move. ?
What he does he does extremely well but you can't pick him over these legends..sureley?

Fury is an except at long hooks and uppercuts designed to destroy a shorter man at long range....look what he did to chisora II

You obviously haven’t read my posts. Marciano wouldn’t land one punch all night.

Steve Cunningham is 6’3” tall with an 82” reach...

Exactly how does marcianos physical tools compare to that?

Not one (1) punch? Not even one (1) decent body shot to Fury's long torso?
Not even one teensy weensy body punch? 1? Maybe half of one? Maybe? Possibly?
Not Even a lucky lucky punch with Rocky's eyes closed while Fury his smiling at the crowd?

I think Fury matches up good with both of them ... I like him over these two ATG

If it is that simple, then why didn't some boxing promoter in the 50s just find a guy the size of Fury, and teach him to box?

Who have you seen before Fury who had that movement and evasiveness? It isn't just the size!

It wouldn't be difficult for a 5'10.5" guy with a 58 "reach to land on a 6'9" guy?

Take a look at Rocky against 6'3" Ali, now add 6 more inches in height and 40lbs in weight.

    Which ones?
I find it baffling that posters say," well Fury was knocked down by a cruiserweight!" 6'3" 200lbs Cunningham, yet they don't say,"well Rocky was knocked down by a 37 years old 192lbs guy and a near 40, 188lbs guy"!

Cunningham would be the tallest heavyweight of any class ,with the biggest reach that Marciano ever faced.

    Come on now.

You know that for many people, the only qualification for being picked over Marciano, is being above a certain height and weight!
