Two popular undefeated heavyweight prosepects, one British & one Cuban, how would this one go down if signed now? Tyson Fury is 15-0 (10KO) with a win against Chisora, whereas Mike Perez is 16-0 (12KO) with a win against Tye Fields. This would be a risky & dangerous fight for both prospects & might not be signed for a few years, but i want to know what people think about it as a current fight. From what we've witnessed, Fury has size advantages, but Perez has more raw power. This would be a fan-friendly 12 round battle for the British & Commonwealth titles.

Update: Fury's management has made Perez an offer to fight on September 17th in Belfast, live on Channel 5.

im sort of leaning towards perez and his power to cause tyson all kinds of trouble, perez is largely untested tho. to be honest ive only ever really seen him in prizefighter so i cant really judge. from what i remember tho he is short for a heavyweight (or am i just thinking that because tye fields is so big? haha)

if tyson could learn how to use his size to his advantage properly he could beat anyone in the world, hes too easy to get close to and land on at the moment...

hard to say..i wouldnt look to much into perez win over fields he was already busted up and knackered..would perez had beat him that easily if it was a 12 rounder with a trainin camp under his belt??i guess i would slightly lean towards perez...i also have to say i think perez would have alot to say about you callin him an unbeatin british hw considering hes cuban and is fighting out of the rep of ireland lol

Good point, Fields already had a swollen welt under his eye from previous punishment. :!:

D'OH! I thought it was Northern Ireland Perez was fighting for. :patsch

Fury vs. Perez sounds really, really good.

If they do the same deal as Fury vs. Chisora, making it an inexpensive PPV over here in the US - I might actually buy it.

I favour Fury in this by razor close decision, with scores like 6-5-1 & 6-6.

Hes a cuban regardless of where hes fighting out of anyways. I'd go for him to win by stoppage I think :thumbsup

Over in Britain, i would hope Channel 5 could buy it.

Perez is an Irish based Cuban.

I would like this fight and favour Fury. Neither of these guys are much good though.

Whatever you think of their quality as fighters, watching Fury-Chisora last night makes me think this would be a exciting war. :!:

Perez is stylistically similar to Chisora as another short come-forward slugger, but Perez is more skilled & better conditioned.
