Give them a chance. Both are still only prospects. I agree with your prediction at the moment though, I'll have to watch more of Perez.

hard to call, however you have to favour the more proven man in fury.

now if fury beats perez and then say david price, he has to be in the top 10 above boystov right?

the thing is tyson fury is improving with every fight and is getting stronger and fitter all the time. if they do fight it will be a leaner, faster, harder hitting fury that faced chisora, against a guy 7 inches smaller and with a way shorter reach. this is why i'd pick fury to win a decision or late ko.

i don't see the point in fury facing david price yet. they both have potential and both are very early in there career. its like froch and ward fighting 4 years ago. it doesn't make sense.

they should fight gatekeeper guys like thompson and dimitrenko and then if one wins a title they should fight each other.

because if fury beats price he's essentially cleared up the domestic scene so he can then step up to euro level a more prepeared fighter.

Couldnt agree more, watch fury's first fight with Mccdermot then watch the fight with Chisora and see the difference. Who has perez fought who is as good or even better than Chisora? and did Perez dominate them like Fury did Chisora?
Fury should win if the fight ever happens then Price should be next.

Whilst Boystov still has to step up his calibre of opposition he still has won all 28 of his fights......that's twice as many fights as Fury has had.

Even if Fury were to beat Price (11 fights)and Perez (16 fights include 3 Prizefighter fights)......they are ALL still novices in the pro game. hell even Chisora only had 14 fights.......so Fury will have to do more than beat domestic fight novices to really be regarded as a world prospect.

Who has Boytsov beaten? Other than Bidenko, his record is pretty barren. By that rationale, David Rodriguez (36-0) should be top 10.

Honestly, the only reason Boytsov is still top 10 is attrition. At this point, Pulev, Fury, Perez and even Luis Ortiz have all beaten better competition than he has.

Like I said, Boystov needs to step up his opposition......that said he is still undefeated after 28 fights.

Let's see if Fury can remain undefeated by 28 fights.......if he does, although I somehow doubt it.......then perhaps Fury can be considered a good world prospect.

If he's still only fighting the level of opposition Boytsov is after 28 fights, it would be considered a huge disappointment.

So you must think that David Rodriguez is a crazy good prospect then?

Don't get me wrong, I am disappointed as anyone that Boystov hasn't stepped up his opposition.

I first saw Boystov fight several years back, and I thought he'd be one to watch.....but I'm still waiting for him to truly prove himself.

As for Fury........I don't get the same buzz about Fury that I had Boystov a few years back.
It's quite possible that Fury could either get beaten or stagnate just like Boystov a couple of years down the line.
