    Round 3

Fury circles left and jabs, looking very relaxed and commanding. Firtha is no longer even bothering to defend against the jab and is just keeping a wary eye on the right hand, trying to circle in with quick sidesteps to the left to land a sneaky right hand at an angle on Fury. Firtha keeps moving along bishop lines (for you chess heads) to get in position and lands a big overhand right! An uppercut! Several uppercuts! A whole mess of punches! Fury tries to hold him off but is getting rocked!! Firtha pounds him down throughout the round as Fury tries to assume control by hook or crook, punching and grabbing.

    10-9 Firtha

    29-28 Fury

    Round 4

Firtha is back on the end of that jab, the cut having been well worked on in the corner but in danger of leaking back out. BIG RIGHT by Fury! Firtha is staggered back now. Firtha hangs back with arms outstretched until nearly cornered and then drifts in to grab. The referee warns them both about something, although there don't seem to have been any dirty tactics either way. Very long-winded speech, whatever it was. Seconds ticking off the clock. They get back to it, Firtha on the front foot but getting jabbed in the face. Firtha is holding his hands spread apart, able to throw sneaky jabs from unpredictable spots to make up for Fury's being faster straighter and harder. BIG RIGHT HAND BY FURY! Firtha is hurt and tries to grab but tilts forward into another right. Fury steps back into the corner and Firtha leans into him, supported by him. 10-count is applied!

    10-8 Fury

    39-36 Fury

    Round 5

Long whipping shots by Fury, a hook and a side-winding right. Firtha is lashed on either side of the head. Not much power in them, but they are still painful like a swiftly flashing switchblade. Fury is landing long bombs, walking Firtha down and landing big uppercuts and straight rights. Firtha struggles to try and hold. BIG RIGHT HAND BY FURY!

Ref stoppage. Not really a great one, but not Calzaghe-Manfredo bad.

Firtha was getting abused there, but we got robbed of a satisfying finish to an excellent battle.

what did i say? fury has a lot of potential. he needs to improve his fundamentals and increase his power but he could go all the way!
