I guess you need Wilder for American interest but replace him with Zhang and that would be exciting. Zhang just beat a legit top 5 heavy where as Wilder has lost 2 or his last 3 by KO. The China market would come alive too by this move.

It would be awesome if they arranged a mini four person tournament between Zhang, Ruiz, Bakole and Jalolov to fight the winner of this.

While we're all hitting our crack pipe, of course

    Fury is the WBC champion.

Usyk is the IBF, WBA and WBO champion.

Wilder is the WBC and WBA #1 contender (not to mention the highest rated Ring contender who isn't Fury or Usyk), who wasted the WBA's then #2 contender in one round last time out.

    They are the top three.

    The oddball is Joshua.

But Wilder will take care of him soon enough.

Zhang-Hrgovic 2 would be great. Their first fight was exciting as hell.

Zhang-Ruiz would be great fun, too.

    400 million in fighter purses.
    Ok.
    Sounds reasonable.
    I believe it.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking, remove Bakole or Jalolov for Hrgovic. I'm glad to see Hrgovic calling out Zhang. I get that Zhang wants to fight for the title, and we'd all like to see it, but imo he's been improving recently, and he should keep taking hard fights that keep him motivated.

Paying Governing bodies splits doesn't make you a a better boxer. Beating top quality opposition does.

combining both AJ and Wilder best opponents they have beaten and their records.

    1. Wlad - AJ
    2. Povetkin - AJ
    3. Whyte - AJ
    4. Parker - AJ
    5. Ruiz - AJ
    6 . Pulev - AJ
    7. Debatable between Ortiz and Takam - Wilder / AJ.
    9. C. Martin

AJs record is far superior and it not even debatable.

Fury is looking more and more like he will never fight outside of the UK again.

Let's see what excuse Fury has this time.

I agree that AJ's record is far superior, but (a) the version of Ortiz Wilder first defeated should be ranked higher, certainly above the version of Pulev AJ defeated, and arguably above Ruiz (notwithstanding Ruiz's subsequent victory over a faded Ortiz); (b) C. Martin is not better (despite the nominal titleholding) than the version of Stiverne Wilder first fought. But these are nuances, no dispute here that AJ has a much more impressive regime.

Today's version of AJ is still likely to lose against Wilder tho.

Fury and Usyk are the champs. Wilder is the top rated contender in the WBC, WBA and RING ratings.

Joshua isn't rated #1 by any org anywhere.

And you're bringing up fights, like Whyte, that took place EIGHT years ago. Time moves on.

After stinking out the joint against the unranked Jermain Franklin, Joshua is lucky to even be included.

Given their last outings, Zhang should probably replace Joshua.

Regardless, some Saudi prince seems to have a boner for Joshua. But AJ will wish he wasn't invited, after Wilder puts him to sleep. Easy work.

Again paying Governing bodies splits lto get a ranking doesn't make you top fighters beating quality opposition does. McKean, Adeleye, Hunni, Kabayel, Ajagba, Guidry and Byran are just some of the very questionable top rank 15 guys within Governing bodies. Ring again questionable in their their judgement Ortiz being in top still is mind boggling.

Boxrec again, questionable after formula reshuffles after big fights has AJ third and Wilder 5th.

Would love to see it but it's not going to happen. I am 99.9% certain.

Wilder would be the one causing the issues IMO. I doubt he'd fight outside the USA.
