Who cares if Wilder is rated #1? Wilder's only win in the last 3 years was ****ing Helenius, before that it was 50 year old Ortiz.

Joshua and Wilder have it all to prove really. They've been without a remotely impressive win for numerous years.

2019 - Joshua easily UD's Ruiz, Wilder KO's Ortiz - Over 3 years ago, this was the last time either fighter got a remotely impressive win.

Since then Wilder has beat Helenius, and Joshua has beat Franklin and Pulev. All of these opponents are no better than Chisora.

What we're actually going to get -

Fury vs Ruiz - Fury cruises to a boring UD
Wilder vs Ortiz 3 - Wilder brutally KO's Ortiz in 2 rounds and convinces himself he's P4P ATG
    AJ vs Whyte
Usyk vs Hrgovic/Zhang (The only decent fight)

TBH this is the sort of thing that would be worth pay £50-100 for. It would be the biggest thing in boxing history since Muhammad Ali days.

    Why only 4 guys ?

There are a lot of solid HW right now and it will not be hard to give them some money and let fight.

ALL HW card will be very good. Like 6 fights.

Won't it be Usyk-Dubois next, then Hrgovic? Wilder is under question, really, but he can try Joyce (or Joyce try Wilder).

    Constantly talking isn’t necessarily communicating.

Remember the golden days when big fights were negotiated and agreed behind closed doors, then a big announcement made, and the fighters actually fought.

Wilder's one-punch, first-round KO over the WBA #2 contender last time out was more impressive than any win Joshua has had in recent memory.

Hell, name any heavyweight right now who has a one-round KO win over a ranked opponent? Any of them? Any contender? Any ratings body?

When was the last time Joshua dominated anyone like that? Anyone at all? Franklin wasn't even ranked and he was coming off a loss. And Joshua bored the pants off everyone over 12 rounds.

Don't lump Wilder in with Joshua's dull fights.

Deontay Wilder has so many brutal, dominant KOs, and he's made them so commonplace (when they aren't for anyone else), that people like yourself now appear to just ignore them.

Or, worse, try to dismiss those highlight reel KOs by lumping them in with boring 12-round decisions other contenders have over unranked opponents and trying to pass them off as the "same."

They aren't. Wilder is exciting as hell.

Against his last four opponents - Helenius, Fury, Ortiz and Breazeale - Wilder has a 4-2-1 record with 4 KOs and he's scored 10 KNOCKDOWNS, 3 one-punch KOs and was involved in a Fight of the Year.

Against everyone not named Fury, over the last four years, Wilder has scored one-punch KOs over all of them.

Wilder is the highest rated heavyweight without a belt. He's the #1 contender.

Against Joshua's last four opponents - Franklin, Usyk, Pulev and Ruiz - Joshua doesn't even have a winning record and has only managed to stop Pulev.

It's not 2018 anymore. Joshua is lucky to be included at all.

The Saudis need to use that WWE money and buy DAZN and ink deals with all the major promoters to get all the fighters and money under the same roof.

There would be no more ducking in boxing with the Bonesaw Squad just a phone call away.

Franklin would be Wilders 2nd or 3rd best win, let that sink in

I can see why you're confused because Usyk's second-best win at heavyweight is Chisora. Or was it Chazz Witherspoon? So a boring decision over Franklin might be Usyk's second or third best win at the weight.

No, for all the crap you guys dish out about Wilder, he hasn't fought an unranked opponent in nearly a decade. He certainly wouldn't fight one NOW.

Jermaine Franklin was selected by Eddie Hearn because he had no power, was coming off a loss, was unrated and posed ZERO threat ... so Joshua wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt and Franklin would be easy for Joshua to demolish and reclaim his "damaged psyche."

And, of course, Joshua crapped the bed, went 12 boring rounds and never came close to even putting Franklin down and they had to blame the really bad showing on the idea he had a new trainer.

In Wilder's first fight with a new trainer, he didn't face and unrated nobody who was coming off a loss himself. He fought the World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, floored Fury twice and was involved in the Fight of the Year. In his second fight with his new trainer, he wasted the #2 WBA contender Helenius in one round.

Hearn was praying for a performance from Joshua like the one Wilder delivered against Helenius, and tried to pick the easiest guy for Joshua to face ... someone who wasn't even ranked ... and Joshua still stunk out the joint.

Wilder wastes Franklin, like Wilder has wasted everyone who isn't Tyson Fury. Jared Anderson wastes Franklin. Hell, Big Baby Miller wastes Franklin. Franklin has one KO win in the last four years against a guy with a 20-22 record.

Franklin is nothing. That's why he was selected by Hearn. Franklin was the unrated, light-punching guy coming off a loss himself who Joshua was supposed to wipe out in one round.

But Joshua couldn't do his job and impress.

Whos better than Franklin on Wilders resume other than Ortiz?

    Stiverne? Brezeale? Szpilka? Dahaupas?

Look at his resume, its shocking.

Wilder picked Fury because he gained 150lbs and was coked up 24/7, Wilder thought hed be an easy opponent with a big name. He got schooled by Fury even at 60%.

1 win over AJ is worth 10 Ortiz wins.

    Parker
    Povetkin
    Wlad
    Ruiz
    Pulev
    Whyte

Are all better wins than anyone Wilder has fought.
Wilders best win got beat by Ruiz and dropped twice by Charles Martin
