How is povetkin not a puncher? He ko'd far more serious men than Wilder has.

Theres no chance of that happening. Dubois will get outboxed, busted up and stopped.

Caniel is the biggest glass cannon in the divison.

So Uncle has the oldest prospect in the world, he has the most overrated hw champ of all time, and the biggest glass cannon all at the same time! Has not got a clue anymore that man.

Kid copped a ban just in time for Fury to announce some circus crossover fight, probably for the best.

Wig is hyperbolic but he's basically right:

    - Takam (no KD’s/KO’s against his ten best opponents)

    - Parker (no KO’s against his eleven best opponents)

    - Ruiz x2 (had gone the distance with a litany of journeymen despite being a pressure fighter)

    - Pulev (aged, inactive, didn't KD/KO three of his previous four opponents)

    - Usyk x2 (didn't KD/KO his more durable cruiser opponents or Chisora)

    - Franklin (somehow went the 10 round distance with uber glass chinned Sour)

Povetkin had KO power but he was aged, increasingly shopworn, hadn't dropped or stopped two of his previous three opponents and he wouldn't drop or stop his next two post-Joshua either.

Perhaps it's a coincidence that eight of Joshua's nine opponents post-Wlad have been below average KD/KO artists. Or perhaps the harder punchers in the division have all been ducking Joshua. But it's indisputable that post-Wlad, the matchmaking has overwhelmingly selected opponents who on paper weren't at all likely to knock Joshua out.

    - Takam - late replacement for IBF mandatory Pulev
    - Parker - WBO World Champion unification
    - Ruiz - late replacement for Miller who had an 83% KO percentage
    - Pulev - IBF mandatory
    - Usyk - WBO mandatory
    - Franklin - comeback fight after 2 defeats

@Sonny1 Did your work for you mate.

This assumes that boxing politics is non-corrupt (farcical) and that Matchroom weren't able to heavily influence who Joshua fought. But whatever the case may be, Joshua's overwhelmingly been fighting non-punchers. It can't be denied. He managed to get KO'd by one of them too, so perhaps keeping him away from punchers was a good idea.

Just like they were praying Joshua did in the second bout too so he could have an easy undisputed bout. Fury was literally saying back then he didn't want to fight Usyk so it's not a huge surprise that it's turned out the way it did.

A huge shame as a few years back Tyson seemingly had the world at his feet and had the potential to go down as one of the greatest HW's. Now he'll always be remembered as the bloke who ducked someone he called a middleweight.

From the puncher perspective we all wanted Wilder for him after he boxed Klitschko, who team AJ clearly thought would get steamrolled as he was old and inactive and I thought Joshua would win that at the time. I wasn’t impressed with his KOs of Stiverne or Ortiz. Now we will never know. Joshua was such a big commodity and his fights were so huge that his team were doing what they thought was best fit the ride until fatty derailed it all in NY.

DramaShow with his knowledge and backing of Joshua, commendable :).

Let’s see if AJ can have another heavyweight run of some sort, even if it’s another just 5 non title fights or something. He made himself look a twat after Usyk 2 and a Whyte stoppage and a shootout with Wilder regardless of the result would go some way people forgetting that.

Heavyweight is one of my least favourite divisions ever since Wladimir was champion tbh and I don’t particularly like either Fury or Joshua.

None of these guys can crack an egg, the best you can come up with is “shot old midget Alec povetkin”

Pure coincidence Joshua has failed to face even ONE the five biggest punchers in the division:

    Wilder
    Dubois
    Joyce
    Fury
    PAPA ZHEE

but yeah it’s because they’re all ducking the guy who went twelve rounds with jermall FRANKFURTER and twenty four with a midget cruiser with zero knockdowns at heavy.

Just imagine what Wilder would do to Joshua. It’d be the biggest obliteration since that made up road accident David Diamanté had.

The one where he claimed he may never walk again and was back in the ring announcing 2 months later. Seems like there was no record of a crash happening where he said it did on or around the date he claimed.
