@Ex Army Jim 39 on fire

Knows his boxing and can see through a fake like Joshua easily.

Wilder is a fooking warrior with the heart of a lion.

No surrender Wilder gets my respect over the limited Team Humble mob.

You think Wilder would have beaten Wlad at Wembley that night? I’m not so sure.

We know you are an AJ hater, but his win against Klitschko trumps anything Wilder has done.

*shot to pieces old retired klitschko who’d had his feet up on the sofa for 18 months after being schooled in his backyard by fury, was flown into wembley by Barry Hearns in a helicopter full of money, flew straight back out again after the fight and never fought again

the fact a shot old retired man took Joshua life and death says everything about Joshua’s level

wilder would have put that old man to sleep in conclusive fashion

I’m surprised you have managed to spell 3 boxers names in one post correctly. Progression, give yourself a good star.

If it were a pure cash out then Wlad would have taken the £22 million rematch that was on the table win or lose.

The fact that he didn't try to avenge that defeat in what was clearly a winnable rematch is a considerable stain on his legacy. He even said "I'd never change the outcome" and "I won by losing". Like Wlad's a cross between Jesus and Ben Kenobi.

Ruiz 1 and Usyk x2 100% came to win, both beat him. This is a recurring theme.

sonny joshuas one of my favourites to watch mate ive said it before although i will say that might be in past as now hes doing the safety first thing for a while and its no very entertaining the way he does it to be called a hater thats unfair mate come on also i would have wilder knocking vladimir clean out i know a few years earlier wilder had tuff time in sparring with him but think he was to gased and past it by that point vlad he gave it his all but stamina gone

Klitschko was past it in that fight, AJ made him look better then he was, a Joe Joyce pre Zhang would have beat him.

He didn’t even take the rematch which they were trying to do in Vegas because he knew it was over at 42

Klitschko was done before Fury and had deteriorated even more by the AJ fight, steelhammer would have finished the job in the 6th or 7th instead of looking for that one punch.

Yes Wilder would have knocked him out before it even got to that point. The effort that AJ put in at the start of the 5th is what Wilder would have started with. No matter what you think about Wilder there’s no denying his heart and desire to win.

My point is that even though AJs win over Klitschko is highly rated, the fight itself shouldn’t be as highly rated because the age and inactivity of klitschko and his visible decline in the ring

I don't discount the Klitschko win: Wlad gave Joshua considerably more resistance than Povetkin, Whyte or Parker. Joshua only had 3.5 years pro experience, 18-0, never gone past the 7th round, only had one real pro fight previously, fighting in front of 90,000 at Wembley in a mega event. Wlad took the fight because he felt he was getting a green Joshua at the right time. But Wlad was unwilling to risk gassing looking for the finish, so he chose to box for 12 and ended up getting stopped in the 11th anyway (while down on the London cards lol).

But Joshua has had more losses and worse losses than Wilder. And there's a good argument that Wilder's draw with Fury is the best result on the combined records of Joshua and Wilder. Wilder's win over 30-0 Ortiz is also way up there. There's far more chance that Wilder beats 2017 Wlad than he loses to 2019 Ruiz.

I agree with the points on Wlad and that's interesting about a Vegas rematch I never knew that. Also agree he was shot before the Fury fight. I never liked him and loathed his boring reign.

I didn’t realise that ref AJ Jim, I also used to like watching him and thought he was exciting when he was knocking out various opponents earlier on in his career. Then he became very boring.

This safety first Joshua is dross I agree. He should just retire.

Already have one, thank you. It's the Ukraine thing that annoys me.

Why don't you help your mates out over there then if you care so much? You know what let's all just roll over for Ukraine if they qualify for next year's euro.

    Incredible..
