marked. and mark me down for the same, the naysayers will be dumbfounded how comfortable Fury will have it
spot on Wig lad, that is easily the best summarisation of the upcoming Fury v Usyk undisputed heavyweight title fight, a combination of Tyson’s ring IQ his unorthodox shot selection, his size, reach footwork alongside his more recently used Tank version of Fury deployed in Wilder 2/3 the Tank version will give the little Ukrainian nightmares whilst trying to stop the big Fury sherman tank rolling over him, Tyson will smash in a devastating body shot and crumple the little fella then grab the microphone and start singing
Calm down, ruddy hell I’m not an Uysk fan boy. I take your points onboard and I’ll say maybe a 100 punches a round is a stretch so I appreciate you for calling me out on that. I still think he will be looking to throw circa 60-70 punches per round in the championship rounds because, for me this is the only way he wins the fight. Fury will be so much much bigger and heavier in this one it’s not really a level playing field, but at heavyweight you obviously weigh whatever you want so that’s the game. My point on his potential punch output down the stretch is that when was the last time Fury boxed someone who was throwing combinations that late, let alone coming forward and putting pressure on him? It hasn’t been since Otto Wallin and we saw the state of him at the end of that one and Otto Wallin is no Usyk. This is the best chance Usyk has to win with Fury having blown a gasket after about the 9th round. Happy to bet you now that he wins the last 4 round’s unanimously on the judges cards. Good news is, the fight is happening so let’s see come December or whenever the date is.
Are you really in a position to be calling other posters fanboys of boxers after this one licking Fury’s arsehole? Banging on about him singing at the end, you tit, no doubt you’ll be joining in when he most likely wins. He may well be singing at the end, but if he wins this fight it’s 4 stone weight advantage and huge reach advantage which is the main reason. He’s getting older now and he’s been inactive so I wouldn’t be too confident in your gypsy hero just yet.
Read my post below. Down the stretch Fury will be in trouble due to Usyk punch output and footwork. This isn’t a Chisora, Whyte or Ngannou he is boxing, however I am sure you know best.
"Uysk is still throwing 100 plus punches a round in 9,10,11,12." Yeah right and Fury could get hit by a flying pig too
The mental gymnastics on display here are Olympic standard. Using chisora as a way to attempt to discredit fury, “USKY is no Chisora” whilst simultaneously ignoring the fact shot old Chisora himself gave USKY more to think about at HW than anyone else (bar DDD for a round perhaps) is staggering. Hypotheticals are the only way to discredit fury since sticking to facts shows he is the undefeated lineal undisputed unified etc champion.
Mate, you typing boxers names incorrectly is not clever, it makes you look a tool. I am not the only person who has said this to you. I agree Fury is a firm favourite for this fight and let’s hope for your sake he wins at the cantor that you are very confident he will win it at. For me, I don’t subscribe to that prediction. Usyk of today is a completely different heavyweight from the one who boxed Chisora. Also I don’t mean to come across as discrediting Fury, I think he’s had a really good heavyweight run and thought the Wilder fights were very entertaining. No hate from me on him, far from it. I’ve bought all his PPV defences apart from Chisora as I was on holiday at the time. Let’s enjoy the build up and the fight and look forward to finally having our new undisputed heavyweight champion.
Usyk never got out of 2nd gear against Chisora. He lost the first few rounds and then won pretty much every round after that. I had it 116-112 for Usyk. Disgraceful how Bellew and Coldwell treid to make out that Chisora won. Fury will beat Usyk but I hope Usyk gets the job done. I also feel bad for FIlip Hrgovic who still has to wait for a world title shot with the IBF. I wonder what the PPV price will be for Fury vs Usyk. I bet it'll be at least £30.
Fury is very hittable himself though and we know he doesn’t live the life in between fights either. It’s going to catch up with him at some point. I mean I still expect him to win but it’s going to be interesting.
