Bellew isn't an "overachiever". There's no such thing. A boxer can't achieve more than they are capable of achieving.

Truth is, Bellew is hooked up with a top promoter and broadcaster in the UK and is heavily marketed beyond his achievements. The British casual sports fans who watch SKY are probably bombarded by him to the point where he's thought to be something better than he is. A win over the similarly over-hyped David Haye (who was once a pretty good boxer but never achieved at heavyweight to match his self hype) means Bellew can be pushed as something he isn't for another 6 to 12 months at least.

Bellew is a useful tool for the Matchroom-SKY nexus, a loudmouth cheerleader for the Anthony Joshua product too.

Bellew would take the Fury fight as part of the Eddie Hearn plan to get his claws in Fury and rush a Joshua-Fury fight.
Obviously it would pay Bellew well. His other big money option is really only a Haye rematch that will never happen.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Haye takes a payment to allow this fight to happen and to fully recover from his Achilles injury. Add a clause that the winner fights Haye in the summer and things get mildly interesting. Fury plays with Bellew and then we’re left with a Fury v Haye title eliminator for AJ or Charr

It's ridiculous if David Haye has to be paid to allow Tony Bellew to have a fight against someone else.

I don't think Bellow has much chance. Good comeback fight for Fury, good paydayfor Bellow.I could be wrong, though. Bellow has shut people up before, andwho knows what Fury's condition is.

Bellow should never mind this ad target Jospeh Parker.

Would be a low risk fight for fury to come back and lose some rust and great payday for bellew .I expect fury to win without to much trouble in about five rnds .Bellew could fight on after by saying fury was to big etc i want Haye for another huge pay out.I doubt Tony can believe the money he is making.fair play to him.
