Fury better get himself into shape then, because he looks like he needs to sign up to one of his old fat camps. We also haven't made it through the exo yet, where he could start taunting and get clipped or even get a cut by butt or elbows while getting bum rushed.
I don’t understand those who argue like that. I mean, Fury obviously doesn’t think he can beat Usyk. He avoids the man like the plague. But somehow some boxing fans assess his chances more accurately than him? “Oh it’s a shame Fury doesn’t believe in himself as much as I do” - wtf? Fury is a professional boxer and a world champion. He knows how dangerous Usyk is. Also, he is the one carrying aground that lard a*** drug-, binge drinking- and overeating-abused 320 lbs body of his. There is no better person to judge how he would fare against Usyk than Fury himself. It’s rather arrogant to assume anyone can know better than him what chances he has against Usyk. And his actions of how he kept ducking him repeatedly speak louder than anything he blabbers in the media. His avoiding Usyk so desperately is as good as a confession of “I can’t beat him, no matter what my overzealous stans think”.
lol what? He is a Duck and will always be . He ducked multiple fighters in his career and I really hope Usyk isn’t one of them.
2021 Imagine putting this out there? A reigning world champion saying he wants nothing whatsoever to do with one of the best fighters in the entire sport even if they win the three other belts in your division and in order to do so they would have to annex them off the biggest and most popular boxing star in not only your country but the second biggest in world boxing This content is protected His greatest ever win still to this day is over ''foreigner'' Wlad and six of his previous seven opponents were ''foreigners'' and ''big names'' Hammer, Wlad, Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz, and Wallin The fact it took this long, the ire and ridicule of the entire boxing world, and all the money in Saudi to shame the chicken out of coop to face someone half their size couldn't be anymore embarrassing, even more so for someone who professes to be a real fighting man.
I'm not arguing anything, I'm simply stating my thoughts I don't think Fury fears Usyk, I think Fury feels that Usyk is a tough challenge that wasn't worth his time and energy but now someone put up enough money to make it worth it to him. Maybe It's just all about the Benjamins's. I think if they fight Fury will win. Looks like we may finally get to see! Have a good night
It amazes me how there are still people who say they like Fury in 2023. The guy just embodies everything that’s bad about boxing. Outside of the ring, he is an uneducated antisemite homophobic misogynist cocaine head adulterer and pathological liar with mob associations and an eye gouging convicted criminal of a father. There’s literally no redeeming qualities about him as of today. I’m convinced those with a healthy mind and living their lives based on decent values can find absolutely nothing likeable about a character like that.
December is too soon. This is publicity from both sides who know the deals done. Date TBC. It'll happen in 2024. Hopefully Q1. Bet Hearns pissed.
It's probably good news for the rest of the division. The belts will be up for grabs after this is done and Joshha will be able to fight Zhang/Hrgovic/whoever for one of them
This is the age-old battle between good and evil and the power of Jesus and all that is holy and sacred guides and is within Usyk. Amen
Very unlikely it will be in December. Big Frank said the time frame is October to March IIRC. I suspect it will be Feb or March.
Gotta admit, it will be nice when Fury and Usyk settle their dispute ready for the next line of heavies to come through. I'm hugely bored of the tentative quitter AJ too, picking up the crumbs of what's left after the big boys fight seems enormously underwhelming. Hearn will sell it the biggest fights in the world though, while those with braincells will know differently.
How dare you say something as malicious as tha...... Oh Hang on Yes it's Tyson Fury, probably a load of utter bullocks.
