I'm with the Fury fans on this one, too big, too long, too awkward. But if Fury doesn't take this seriously then Usyk wins a UD/SD.
Usyk is a phenomenon, and his legacy certainly won't be hurt by taking it that one hurdle too far. He'll be lauded and admired for eternity just for showing up (and rightly so).

I just don't see a world where Fury doesn't take this one seriously, every fight he has ever had leads up to this one.
And any fat won't matter if he can go 12 with ease.

Made up this is finally on, just need to get this silly NG sideshow out of the way and the hype can ramp up properly.

Fury finds another level against his "best" opponents

No doubt he'll pick Usyk off from every range. Usyk will do ok early but then it will slowly go downhill in till 300 pounds of gypsy man tits crushes him.

It does not take very long for a 300 pound man leaning on you to make you gas out. Usyk has a weird clinch defence where he'll cover his entire body bent over, Fury is going to lean all over him.

    Underestimate Usyk at your peril.

Usyk will do his best to stay away. He'll be on his bike all night. It's his best chance in truth.

Yup, thing is Usyk at heart is a pressure fighter. If you can make him go backwards not just laterally he will be offensively ineffective.

The vast majority everywhere thought from the outset Fury would win. Some have changed their opinions since but it isn't based on anything tangible because Fury hasn't been in the ring in that time.

I also think usyk has little chance against fury when fury is in shape . I,m a bit sceptical about his shape and how serious he takes this fight .

Usyk on the other hand will put his entire heart into this fight .

Hearn says he has heard there is a 2 way rematch clause in place for Fury-Usyk. Meaning regardless of who wins, they will go again.

Hardy a huge surprise, if true, with both holding titles.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about that. All this talk about Usyk being a Middleweight and what not are just his way of selling the fight. Fury's a smart guy in matters pertaining to the ring, he knows Usyk is the only guy at Heavyweight right now that stands a chance at outboxing him. He ain't gonna come in half cocked. I believe both guys will come in at top form.

I am typically very against rematch clauses, but for this one I'm not too mad about it. If someone wins x2 then there will be ZERO arguments about who the best heavyweight of the era is. If each wins one, then we are treated to one of those most historically significant HW trilogies of all time.

I agree fury is a pure pro - a smart one - and i guess he agreed to such a fight only when he is absolute sure that he wins it .

Up to now mike tyson , wilder , chisora and zhang gave predictions . All of them say fury will win .

I,m just wondering how he will manage to get in shape in december/january when he appeared a bit fatty at the ngannou press conference and how he will get in full cocked shape in less than 8 weeks after the ngannou fight .

Because one thing about usyk is true : his skills are not to be underestimated , he stays dangerous .

Theres plenty of time for camps, I think Warren said Riyadh Season goes on til about March. Fury's shape now won't be an issue, he has time to get to where he needs to be.
If there was ever going to be an issue with Fury going into this fight, it will be with his head. And since the Ustinov and Wlad rematch pull outs, Fury's been way worse and way more unfit, that I don't even see it as an issue now. The guy runs everyday and is in his own gym constantly. His heads in the right place at just the right time.
I'm sure Usyk fans will pray he gets fatter and I'm sure Fury will toy with everyone during the build up. It's bloody entertaining all being said.
Usyk will be in top shape and peak mentality, as he always is. Dude epitomises professionalism.

    Fury has better be fit.

I want no excuses from the fangirls when Usyk cruises to a comfortable decision and Fury retires rather than take the rematch.

There simply cannot be excuses. Both men have signed for the unidpsuted heavy weight championship of the world, to be crowned the true first baddest man on the planet since Lennox, if either man doesn't show up 100%, it's their own damn fault. And fanyboys from either side should be called out if they start that idiocy.

Just like this nonsense and those who liked it.

You only need to be around here for 5 minutes after any overhyped fighter takes an L to know there WILL be excuses.
