We don't even have a proper date yet. And the Wlad rematch was on. It was signed too. We all know what happened - moob chickened out, got banned and lied about it. As it stands, it still means sweet Fanny Addams that both teams confirmed that the contracts have been signed. It's merely a step in the right direction but it's not a guarantee for anything.

The fight will be on when Fury is touching gloves with Usyk before the first round. Until I see the fat t**d actually showing up on fight night, I don't believe he wants the fight. There's a reason it took some 2 years and 200 million USD and Usyk seemingly vulnerable for body shots and Usyk turning 37 soon and a huge public backlash for the Salad Dodger just to put pen to paper.

But he can still "hurt his ankle" in camp. His "men'al 'elf" could still be acting up again (lol) all of a sudden. Paris could still get pregnant again with triplets or one of Fury's 1987299 cousins could still get hospitalised just the day before the fight or whatever. It's hard to keep up with all the lies, excuses and BS the lardbucket has piled up over the years. It's hilarious how people try to act like Fury wasn't an unreliable and pathological liar who pulled out of numerous fights before.

I think the date will be comfirmed after the crossover fight and my guess would be not later then february.

I believe everybody was waiting for the Big$.. Usyk even signed a Saudi contract after the first negotiations took place.. It was always going to be in Saudi Arabia…

They are both professional boxers (prizefighters) if money didn’t matter to them they should have stayed in amateur boxing

All this is true and the reason i will root for Usyk but I still love Fury as a character and ambassador for the heavyweight division to the casual auddience on a global scale.

This doesn't even make sense. The fight was always going to be in Saudi, yes. And Usyk signed indeed because he wasn't waiting for anything. He wasn't interested in splits or whatever.

It was Fury who demanded so much money that the Saudis told him to get stuffed. It was Fury who wanted to feed the world the lie that while his financial demands could not be met in the one place on Earth where boxers get the biggest paycheques today, a fight set in the UK would generate enough.

Once again, you guys try to whitewash Fury and make it look like he wasn't the culprit but was just doing what everybody else did. No. Usyk signed and was ready to go. Fury didn't sign, he lied about his intentions to fight and he also lied about being in camp, and it took multiple factors at the same time (including a Saudi record-breaking money offer even though what was originally offered to Fury would have been his biggest paycheque to date and much bigger than what he will get for the Ngannou "fight") to get him to sign many months later.

The undisputed still not happening and only and solely Fury's fault. Don't try to drag the Saudis or Usyk or the HW landscape in it, please, mate. You know it perfectly well this s**t show is all because of Fury.

It is very simple what's happening: the public backlash is so big and the money offered by the Saudis now is so ridiculous that Fury had no option but to sign. Whether he will actually show up on fight night remains to be seen. But if you think that his acting all cocky and not caring about what people think of him, then you are badly mistaken. Even his own followers absolutely rip him a new one on his social media profiles. And Fury is probably the most narcissistic of them all - it hurts his ego badly how people no longer lap his BS up. That idiot father of his even tried to sell the idea of how Usyk was sneakily turning the British public against Fury. Right, a guy who barely speaks English turns the public opinion around of the famously patriotic Brits who always cheer for their compatriot no matter what. That's the best Team Fury could come up with. They are that desperate. On the one hand, they mock Usyk for being a foreigner with zero English skills, on the other, he is this mastermind who somehow still manipulates the Brits into hating on Fury. Absolutely hilarious.

It’s one of those “accuse the others of your own faults” things, right?

Try something better, pal. Your being still a Fury fan after all that has been going on around the fat c**t is embarrassing enough in itself, no need to make your situation even worse with lame attempts at reverse psychology like that.

Sprayedlivylev is the biggest whopper on any of these boards and I include dramashow in that.

Ignores the fact uysk never once made an offer to fury but Fury is the ducker.

Like I said all the way from summer, it's a done deal and the fight is for late Feb early march but might get moved back a few weeks to end ridayah season. Just a pity aj and wilder can't get done to open the season.

Say what you like about fury buy there was vocal calls for who the "baddest" man on the planet was and would a ufc fighter beat a boxer. He took it up for massive money. Personally I think it's a load of shite and won't buy it but it was what the wider public outside boxing wanted to know. If he wins convincingly it's the perfect ad for the uysk fight and to bring people back into boxing that have stepped away to goth boxing over the years.

Fury, like him or hate him has cross over appeal unlike most other boxers at this moment in time.

I'm very happy that the fight is signed, but there are far too many unknowns here before I get excited and look forward to it.

-Fury has a fight before this, and yes I know the opponent is not much of a threat. There could easily be a headbutt that gashes Fury's eye again and then there is no Usyk fight until Q3 of '24 at the earliest.

-Fury is involved in the fight.

    -No location is set.

-The massive Saudi purses are likely not secured yet, and we have seen massive Saudi purses dry up in the past that ended potential fights.

-Fury is involved in the fight.
