Usyk's style is based on speed, agility, stamina, reflexex. It is a common knowledge that these attributes are leaving fighter first. When Fury lose them... Its not such a problem, because he has reach and height. So in HW Usyk's style is more likely to age badly.

Even if Fury beat Usyk, Joshua, Zhang..... He will never be on the level of Lewis, Holmes, Li, Foreman or Vítali Klitschko. Tony Tucker would play with Tyson Fury.

Fury is 35. Usyk is 36. They're both past prime.

Usyk fans getting in the excuses early already: sad to see, but entirely expected.

The winner of this fight is the greatest heavyweight of his generation. Running down a guy like you are is not reasonable. Being the best of his generation is special.

Only uneducated fool can compare prime by age only. As you can see from my last previous post.

Great news if it really does happen. Hopefully they keep it that way and not give us another false hope. It’s dragged on long enough. This will be no doubt one of the big HW showdowns in awhile.

    Lol. We’ve been here before.

You’ve all seen during the Ngannou press conference (or whatever it was) what shape Fury is in currently. That lard a*** must be around 320-330 lbs. Am I to believe that he will be in fighting shape less than twelve weeks from now for the biggest fight of his professional career?

Bit only would he need to lose some 50-60 lbs until December without losing power but also spar and train for the fight as well and have that Ngannou thing safely done in the meantime too. Are we supposed to believe that Fury, the most notorious duck and cherry picker of HW history, will face Usyk less than eight weeks after the Ngannou bout?

No, I’m not buying it, folks, and nor should you. We’ve been here before, Team Fury already lied about the fight definitely happening twice in the past one and a half years. This is just yet another gimmick from Team Fury.

I want nothing more than to be proven wrong about this and see how Usyk sends the ogre into retirement, but the fight is not happening in December and probably never will, sadly.

If it happens great I'm just sceptical about the whole thing obviously.

But as I said if it does happen I'm picking Fury to win, not a fan of his but if he beats Usyk I'll give him full credit.

If he does beat Usyk and gets 1 more win over Joshua or Zhang hes a definite top 10 Heavyweight ATG IMO.

We did it lads. We successfully bullied Sugar-Tits Fury into the fight.

You have a point, it's undeniable really. The questions remains how much exactly does Usyk age by the fight night. Didn't look too bad with Dubois. I think there is a chance that extra motivated he rises to the occasion prepares himself extra well, even if one last time.

I doubt it'll happen at the end of this year. Wouldn't surprise me if this is just some way to build hype for the Ngannou fight and throw more blame Usyk's way when it doesn't happen. Hate being that cynical about a fight but boxing is a cynical business.

That said, I hope I'm wrong because this is absolutely a fight that needs to happen. An Undisputed Heavyweight champion would be a pretty good Christmas gift. This being a highly anticipated boxing match though, watch Ngannou chin Fury and cause undisputed to be put off further

Backing Usyk to win this one, either by decision or late stoppage.

Also the 23rd is a really weird date for a big sporting event being so close to Christmas.

Fury walking to the ring dressed as Santa Clause.

Both are shot to bits. People have no clue or idea. they see Usyk slap a bodybuilder or Fury slap an MMA fighter and don't realize both are end of life on a steep decline. Another 12-24 months Usyk will be a pensioner in boxing terms and fury not close behind.

I'll belive it when the bell rings. But has Fury played a blinder here.

Usyk fights DD gets hurt but wins. A few question marks appear.

Fury has a tick over VS someone who looks like he may pose 0 threat.

All the time Usyks speed fades a touch. He's a touch more hittable.

    I hope its finally on.

You wish, mate. No matter their age, Usyk simply has the style to beat Fury. Also, Usyk has been taking care of his body much better so despite Fury being younger, Usyk’s overall constitution is in a much better shape.

Age, size, whatever, is not and will never be an issue for Usyk to beat Fury.

Saggy tits is simply too coward to face Usyk in the ring because he knows that would be the end of him. That’s why it won’t happen, even though I’d like nothing more.
