Pfff might be easier to call the lottery... Might even be a boring fight. Or we can always fall back on the the old cliche " A good big in always beats a good little in" but you won't hear that from me...Uysk is class..Fury ain't to shabby skills wise ??
CW Level>>>HW Level Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury “Believe it or not, this is going to sound strange, Cunningham was the hardest fight I ever did have in my whole career, amateur or professional. “The reason being he was very slippery, I couldn’t pin him down. He was light on his feet, weighing 208lbs, he was CW Level and he stepped up into HW Level. “He was a slick, talented boxer and I tried to walk him down, use my size and power, but he was just outboxing me. “What I’m good at – boxing, moving, slipping and sliding – I couldn’t do against Steve Cunningham because he was quicker than me. “It was like he was a better boxer all round than me, and he’d knocked me over even though he was a light puncher. CW Level>>HW Level “I thought: ‘This is it, US debut I’ve been knocked out. Tyson Fury, get up and kick his ass.’ “So I got up, I just went straight forward at him, no more boxing now. “You might be ahead on points, but sooner or later I’m gonna get you. And I did, in round seven I felt him going weak because I was pushing him back. “After he got tired I hit him with a heavy body shot in round seven and he didn’t recover and then I pushed his head back and knocked him clean out with a right hand. CW Level>>HW Level Take note AJ you non-gypsy I thought: ‘This is it, US debut I’ve been knocked out. Tyson Fury, get up and kick his ass.’ The most remarkable thing about that ^^^ is The Gypsy King wasn't facing a 260lb walking blob Oliver Hardy lookalike who lived in McDonald's and only trained on public holidays, he was facing a CW Level boxer in their country and said CW Level stud was ex-military too. If someone were to harvest every bottle from every bottle bank on the planet they still wouldn't have the required amount of bottle it would take to overcome those odds. Only a gypsy man could pull something like that off and that's why they call us gypsies ''real fighting men'' "Come April 20th, this guy's getting knocked spark out. Guaranteed, 100%. I hope him and his trainer believe in magic, because he's going to need a lot of magic to beat Tyson Fury. Steve Cunningham, the whole of Philadelphia behind him couldn't beat me - together. Never mind him on his own, there's not a man 200lbs on the planet who can beat me. And I ain't coming here to play games or talk nonsense, and I'm here to fight. And I hope you're here to fight too. And you talk a good game, 'I'm from Philly, I'm CW Level, I'm a tough guy, gangster', but let's have it real - I mean business, and I'm going to hurt you seriously April 20th. I hope you understand that, I hope your trainer understands that, I hope your wife understands that, I hope everybody understands it, because I mean business, I didn't come to the USA to play tip tap boxing. I came here to do demolition jobs on CW Level boxers. I'm not named after a battleship or whatever - end of." Tyson ''The Gypsy King'' Fury Timestamped This content is protected CW Level>>HW Level (unless the HW Level boxer is Gypsy Level) But if said CW Level boxer is Usyk Level then it gets real interesting. Like really really really interesting.. even if the HW Level boxer is Gypsy Level But generally CW Level>>HW Level
If Usyk can land flush, Fury is there for the taking... Wilder cracked that boy's chin...the next man to him will likely finish him for good
Usyk's immaculate footwork, excellent chin, elusiveness, speed, combinations, angles, would repeatedly allow him to slip incoming shots, get on the inside and into position to fire off and land his combos, anywhere he wants, perhaps the most dangerous opponent possible for The Gypsy King. If this happens, people will be shock at how easily Usyk dismantles him.
Everyone just said muscle man was too big for fatso doe.. Usyk is too slick for Fury to use his size to his advantage against him.
Really hard fight to predict. I went with Usyk because I think he's more consistent an operator, and the size differential won't be huge for him to overcome. I think he gets outboxed in the first few rounds but gradually finds his range and timing and starts outworking Fury down the stretch. Fight could be very close on the cards, though.
The fighters that caused Fury most problems were all small or light guys: Cunningham, McDermott, Pacjik, Wilder (212lbs). Usyk is six three and a natural 210, while being extremely fleet-footed and fast of hand and eye. Fury's size only comes into play if he tries to make things dirty and lean on or wrestle with Usyk. Personally I think that'd be a bad idea and take away from his natural strengths.
I don't actually want these two to fight because I think they're my two favourite current heavyweights.. Andy Ruiz Jr. now in 3rd after the weekend!! If they did - very hard one to call. Both skillful and clever fighters. I think based on his freakish size and longer reach I would just about back Fury. Not a forgone conclusion though.
Tyson Fury is a massive man. Size does come into this and Fury Is too big and too strong regardless of the beautiful skill Usyk possesses.
Awful fight.. Fury can´t hurt a fly, but Usyk can´t get to his range. Boring close decision either way.
Fury is actually a pretty crappy style and size matchup for Usyk. I think Usyk wins but it's not going to be easy.
