You mention how Wlad was past his best at age 39. Nowhere do you mention Lewis was also past his best at 37.

Have I ever told you guys that Vitali has never lost more than 3 rounds in a single fight. I just felt like it was deserving of a mention

That's just amazing, and he's not even from Philly! How is this possible? Next thing you'll tell us if he fought just 3 opponents with losing records, and none of them were below 200 pounds.

How do we know this? One of Lennox's best all time performance was Rhaman II, and he won that one at age 36.

Wouldn't you agree this was one of his best performances?

We can see Wlad declining at the Jennings fight, which pre dated Fury

These Fury picks, I get it he's from the UK and not everyone liked Vitali.

I just fail to see detailed descriptions of how Fury wins.

True, however...Lewis looked sloppy, sluggish and overweight/undertrained vs. Vitali.

Vitali would absolutely win. One of the worst matchups out there for Fury. Vitali would keep his arms moving and pile up points, not load up like Wilder.

I may be alone in this opinion but I think their unusually awkward styles effectively neutralise each other's offensive skills resulting in neither fighter being able to land consistently enough to remain dominant and control the pace of the fight long enough to emerge the clear winner. The fight ends in either a draw or a controversial win which could go either way and would most likely be the subject of debate for many years afterwards.
