    - And I proved that he WAS a top tenner by the same organization who's title he was challenging for. Face it.. You got owned.

He hardly injured himself did he? He wasn't injured anyway. . Its another lame excuse pulled out cos Vitali had a hard fight.
Its the equivalent of somebody using Hayes toe to excuse justify his loss to Wlad.. Real fans don't use injury excuses.

Would you mind sharing with me this wealth of insider information you apparently have access to? Because I only go by what's written in notes and articles. If you know anyone in Vitali's camp or perhaps the doctor who examined him then I think the rest of the forum would certainly appreciate your insight.

No ,no, no... Doza said he was a top tenner.. That implies he was ranked top 10 in the world. He wasn't.

I can do the same with Wilder right now..

Wilder has beaten 4 top ten opponents in two years.. He must be closing in on Vitali's placing as WBC champ.. See..
I win again.. As always.. All i ever do is correct you around here..

Use your eyes . Look at punch stats.. Injured left arm or whatever? He threw more left handed shots late than early in the fight

He was ranked #6 by the same organization who's title he was fighting for.. The same title that Vitali was obligated to defend.. That's all that need be said..

So the answer to my question is essentially no..

That means nothing and youre making up new rules cos you were owned something terrible . He was probably ranked higher or the same when Fury fought him.

Making up new rules? LMAO. No.. If a champion holds a belt then he's obligated to facing challengers ranked by THAT organization or eventually gets stripped. Thats pretty basic stuff and not anything that I made up.. And no I don't consider countering drivel by listing facts as being "owned." As for Johnson being ranked as high or higher against Fury, I don't suppose it would be too much to once again ask for proof? I know this isn't your strong suit.

It means he was only ranked top 10 by the WBC. There's a big difference between an alphabet soup ranking and being a top 10 ranked fighter in the division
. Doza did not imply that and you know it..

Hey , Briggs is currently ranked #4 by the WBA.. Does that mean he's top 5 in the world???

I was responding to YOUR comment that he wasn't ranked in the top 10 and the fact is he WAS ranked in the top 10 by the organization who's title he was SPECIFICALLY challenging for.. You tried to play it off as if he was totally unranked period.. As for Briggs, I can't control the fact that the WBA chooses to give him that ranking, but if he challenges for their belt then the defender should be awarded credit for beating one of THEIR top 10's.

And I was responding to Doza who said he was a top tenner... That means top 10 in THE WORLD.. He never said WBC top 10.

We don't talk about alphabet soup rankings around here. You tried to get his back and it backfired on you.

No.. I wasn't covering his back. I was only responding to YOUR comment. Kevin Johnson was ranked #6 by the same organization who stripped Larry Holmes of their title for not defending against another one of their ranked contenders. This is how the sport works..

Except we were talking about world rankings. That goes without saying.. This thing has blown up in your face. I suggest taking it on the chin and come back stronger another day.
